what to do about fraud

Hello VJ'ers Rightnow I am in shock or jsut calm that I finally figured out the truth about my husband's age. He lied to me and tricked me into marriage when I went over to meet him and be engaged. His passport said he was born in 1979, but he denied and said it was an error. I have been struggling ever since I return home about this relationship - knowing something isn't right. Well, I received information over the weekend and now am almost 99% certain that his orignal passport was correctr and he lied to me about his true age. There is a 15 year difference now not 8 years and I am not okay with this. I beleive he lied to keep me knowing I would not go for someone so young. He has lied on his petition forms and now I don't know what to do....I looked into divorce but would need to have him served papers over there. I can't go through with the petition knowing he lied to me and continues to. Any response will be greatly appreciated.

But thanking God I know this now and not later.... but what do I do?

I think is 3 things to consider, yes?

1. petition / visa application. It's left NVC, so if you want to withdraw it, you'll have to contact 1--DOS 2--NVC and 3--Embassy to withdraw the I-130.

2. divorce - you can file in your local courthouse, he doesn't need to be present, but most likely will have to sign a 'waiver of appearance' between 'filing date' and 'granted date'. 'Served papers' is a trivial thing, btw - the court will do it, on your behalf - no problem there, at yer court, about it.

3. Fraud? Contact ICE - the # is below, in the fine print.

Thank you for your information. I have contacted another reseource and have discovered that my initial suspicion can not be confirmed. So at this time I will keep the petition in Que. But thank you for the help -
