My fiance sputnum test came back negative but she has to wait another two months before being cleared for interview My question is does any one know the chances of finding something positive at the end of the two months?

Though, the sputum is negative, St. Lukes still needs to culture smears for 2 months. In most cases, when sputum is negative, almost 90% that the culture is negative. I know that it is frustrating and kinda annoying too that the waiting period for that is 2 months. Don't worry if your fiance doesn't have history of tuberculosis or severe pulmonary infection, she will be fine. I've got an asthma when I was a bit younger which put scar on my lungs, though I am perfectly fine, they had me sputum and culture test also.
