My card is going out tomorrow. Summer is the theme, so here's the closest I could get to the "Jersey Shore."

Yay! A successful June card passage! :)

And no worries JlovesA... I'll be posting that list at the end of the month anyway.

I sent out my cards on Saturday, so hopefully they start arriving this week :) (I sent more than one, the receivers will see why...lol). I have them scanned, and will post them once they start arriving. :) Though I don't remember which ones I sent to who. LOL

I saw as I ran back out the door on lunch hour to head back to work that Yvo and I received our June post card, but I haven't checked out who sent it yet. I'll look at it when I get home (don't spoil it yet, please, I want to sleuth it out!). :D

My June card should be written and sent out this week.

Hi Everyone,

Just to let you know that I sent my June 2010 postcard today...:)

Hopefully it will get to its final destination by the end of the month.....

It's going to take awhile to get there, as it has a long distance to travel....

Hundreds and thousands of miles......Through all types of weather.......

So if you haven't received a postcard from me yet, be on the lookout for one in the mail!

Meanwhile, I'm still waiting for my postcard....(lol..and with my dumb luck, I'll probably get it tomorrow, when I'm out of town again...weird how I always get mail when I'm out....lol...)

Great to hear too, all the updates from all of you sending and receiving your postcards!

Until then, happy postcard writing and sending to everyone!:)

Ant

P.S. Ashenflowers- Just a guess but....methinks you are sending extra birthday postcards, as you asked about birthdays in your original questionnaire...Hmm...I wonder who has a birthday in June...lol...(not mine though...)

Oooh mighty suspicious, Ant! Methinks I know where it's going and if I'm correct, the end of the month is very optimistic, haha.

Ashenflowers-Oh well, it was just a guess....

Lol..Now I'm really wondering about those extra cards...hmmm......

Second guess....Maybe it's for those who didn't receive their cards before...Replacement Cards? (which is a good thing)

Nevertheless...Happy Birthday to those who have birthdays in June!

JlovesA-Lol...I try to be optimistic (as yes, I've lost mail before too).....Let's just hope that my June 2010 card gets to its intended destination....;)

By the way, just out of curiousity...How long does it take for mail to reach NU? Hmmmm.....

Ant

It really depends. Mail leaving here seems to be faster and get to most destinations within a week for in Canada and 2 weeks for the USA. I'd say 10-12 business days is the average to receive Canadian mail and anywhere from 2.5 weeks to 2 months for American mail. 2 months, that is not a lie. I've gotten mail from SoCal and Florida before...it takes at least 3 weeks and arrives in my PO box all covered in stamps and "no such address exists" ####### all over it. Haha.

True story...sometimes it takes mail more than A MONTH to get here from Ontario. That's when I think a mail-carrying tortoise would be faster. I need to design little tortoise parkas and boots and then I'll get me some timely mail!

OK, I give up. :P

I got this neat card with Rodeo Drive on it, though the sender realized at the last minute that the lights on the trees were actually Christmas lights! :D Blame the post office for the sticker; looks like it says "Beverly Hills" on it...

post-44007-058968200 1276696925_thumb.jpg

It's postmarked Los Angeles, but I can't match the signature to anyone on the list...

Whomever wants to take credit for it, thanks for the card! :) Mine for June has yet to be written, but it will go out this week.
