i'm looking at the sample ds230 on the internet and question 14-17 are unanswered on them.

are we suppose to put our spouse's name/DOB Address and occupation in these questions?

and questions 10-25, r they asking to write his(beneficiary) parents info?

and question 30, places he's lived since the age of 16. he's been living there ever since he was born. should i write his DOB-present or should i write his DOB when he turned 16--present??

awwww the infamous DS230. 14-17 are for the spouse, yes (you) 10 is for the applicant. 19-28 are for the applicant (beneficiary) and question 30 - I was told by the NVC to list just the addresses from when the applicant turned 16 to present. So calculate the year he turned 16 forward. Lots of VJ'rs have done date of birth to present if the address has never changed. Its up to you what to do, but I was told by the NVC they prefer to have it from the time the applicant turned 16 - regardless if the address has been same since birth.

I got an RFE for this question - it seems much trickier than it needs to be!

Yes. Dont leave anything blank unless it does not apply, if that is the case then N/A.

List all employment no matter how long - however on question 32, he can list what his intended profession will be in the US.

Make sure you to check dates and be sure they add up correctly. Also, check the RFE thread for any potential roadblocks. Proofread this form three times if need be!

Good luck and if any more questions arise, please ask away!

To Atsleumas,

Do you write a complete address on "city or town" part?

Thanks

Only the city or town is required as noted on the form. The street address is not required. Good luck.
