You seem to operate under the premise that it is your right, or your duty to revolt against the government if you do not believe in what they legislate. You also say that it shouldn't come to violence, yet in the same breath show indifference towards it. There is no right to secede, and contrary to rightwing nutjob logic, it is not your duty to rise up against a government that you see as overbearing and out of touch. You really do sound as if you're two steps away from joining one of those militias in the mountains of Idaho, or drive a truck into a federal building
