My Introduction

Hello my name is Alan, until recently I was a single guy living alone in Minnesota. now I am an engaged guy still living alone in Minnesota waiting impatiently for my love to join me here.

Floriann and I met on the website called "Date in Asia".. I am pretty sure we aren't the only ones who found each other in this fashion. I guess it was fate that brought us together, or maybe divine intervention but falling in love has never seemed so natural or been so simple.

Here is our believe it or not story, When Floriann was 14-15 she and her friends wrote down the names of the guys they were going to marry, Floriann wrote two names down... flash forward to June of last year when she logged onto DIA and decided to click on my profile which had no picture and a very brief introduction (something like "it doesn't cost anything to get to know me"). She took a chance to get to know me and we hit it off right away. I told her that I had one son and most of my lifes story. A few days later she remembered the names she had written down and the were Alan & Alex... wouldn't you know it my name is Alan and my son is Alex.

thanks to everyone for the good wishes on our journey, it is a very long and stressful process we are all going through and it is great to know that there is a support community out there who people can turn to even if they may never meet in person.

I looked but didn't see your introduction and I would like to know how things are progressing for you as well.

I haven't been able to go to the Phils since my sweetie lives in KL but that doesn't stop us from our desire to retire in the very north of the Philippines many years into the future.

Just a newbie in this VJ, my fiancee from Southern part in Manila ( Laguna).We met through friends & visited Phils twice. A friend found this site & I decided to be a member just to get more info & first time to filed petition for K1 so i need some inputs to all the masters in this process.I informed my fiancee to read more info's in VJ to keep herself updated too as we both dont know the entire process.I filed my application Feb 20,2010 & got NOA1 & still waiting on NOA2. Wish i have the power to move thing faster & my fiancee will join me ASAP.

hello there i just want to share mine too.. when i am pregnant with my first kid i had a dream, i dreamed that my son is an american boy, in fact i told it to my X husband about my dream and almost 4 yrs. ago a fortune teller told me that someone will bring me to other country but it is not my husband, but other man... ;)
