Hi again,

As I posted earlier, my husband and I had our AOS interview last Friday, the 28th, and we were approved. :dance: However, my husband's passport wasn't stamped and we were told his green card should arrive in the next few weeks. My question is that our online status hasn't changed at all - it still says that it was last touched on 7/5/06. Is this normal? I guess I assumed that it would automatically update your online status just by virtue of having had an interview?!

My case status has never updated since my interview last Nov.....

Well, that does help me feel better. I guess I assumed that because, during the whole of our interview, our interviewer was typing information into a computer, that this would show up online as at least a touch. Feels strange to go through the whole interview process and then leave without any actual proof that you were approved, other than someone telling you it's so....

Congrats!

We had the AOS interview in Seattle on 20th a week earlier than you, the IO didn't stamp the PP. The status change was posted five days later, both the online status change and the welcome letter were on the same day,and the GC was received via the US mail on July 28th. So,its normal,if the IO told you that you were approved. You just need to wait a few more days and your GC will be in the mail,however you better start tango like this :dance::dance::dance:

*07.29.05 sent package i-129f to california

*08.02.05 recveived NOA1

*10.17.05 received NOA2

*11.01.05 colombia's embassy received package

*12.05.05 interview date

*12.06.05 recieved VISA

*12.20.05 came to U.S.A!!!!

*12.28.05 applied for a Social Security

*01.05.06 received Social Security card =)

*02.11.06 married....

**AOS**

*03.01.06 sent package for AOS & EAD

*03.03.06 package arrived at unit (Chicago,il 60699)

*03.18.06 NOA1 for AOS & EAD (notice date 03.08.06)

*04.15.06 he had his Biometric taken

*04.17.06 EAD & AOS touched

*05.03.06 AOS touched again & case transfered to CALIFORNIA.

*05.12.06 EAD APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*05.16.06 AOS touched again!!!!!

*05.17.06 EAD approval notice mail it, from USCIS office...and AOS touched again....

*06.12.06 AOS APPROVED

*06.19.06 we received my husband's GREEN CARD!!!!!!!!!
