This may have been answered already but my search of forum headings didn't find it so I started a new topic - forgive me if I am repeating myself. I have just completed my N-400 then checked the Document Checklist one last time before I mailed it and it says, 'If you have answered yes to questions 1 through 15 in part 7 (time outside the United States) of form n-400 send: A written explanation on a seperate sheet of paper. - There are not 15 questions in part 7. they do the same in part 8 which in fact has 8 questions and they talk about 1 through 5. Am I going mad or is this some new form that I am missing?

Thanks - KT

I think either the form or the instructions guide is outdated. I remember seeing this discussion before.

I'll be glad to help you if you copy/paste the links to the web pages related to what you are saying.

I looked over the N400 instructions on the USCIS web page and I don't see what you are talking about. Though the guides on VJ are extremely helpful, they might not be updated. Follow the USCIS's web page N400 instructions.
