hey people today i went to listen the AVR SYSTEM OF NVC and it said that my mom's case is completed on march15,2010....strange that i sent the documents on 13 and they reached NVC on march 22,2010 of which i have a confimation as welll...now i am a bit confused...if nvc received the documents on 22nd how did they completed the case on march 15???

when i was going thru the FOREIGN AFFAIRS MANUAL on CIS website i read that if two RFE are generated and if NVC has received DS-230 and I-864 before that the generation of those two RFE's then they would forward the case to embassy and interview date will be assigned to them...and this time i am right about the info...you can check the link http://www.docstoc.com/.../9-FAM-426...n---Procedural

What documents reached NVC on the 22nd?

Was it a RFE?

Can you still sign-in to the payment portal?

I'd clarify with a NVC operator first thing Monday morning.

I agree with Sachinky... talk to an operator first thing in the morning and they should be able to tell you what is going on

ya it was the RFE...i sent on 13th march via speed post which reached there on 22nd of which i have a delivery proof...i hope they dont lose those docs coz there are ORIGINAL PCC in that package...so lets hope they send it along with other docs to the embassy...when they schedule my interview appointment for MAY i supose...lets hope for the best...

I remember this happening to another member as well a few months ago.

He was RFEd for a PCC, then by the time he sent it in, his case was completed.

What consulate will you be interviewing at?

Did you send one PCC in and one was missing?

What consulate will you be interviewing at?

Did you send one PCC in and one was missing?

i sent the pcc for the first time...my parents passport pcc and their out of country pcc...i was RFEd coz i scanned the copies and didnt sent the original copies...onlly notorized them and sent it with DS-230...we will be interviewed at MUMBAI CONSULATE...i am also banking on MY CSPA...which will be counted at the time of interview of my parents...

i am concerned about my fees that i paid at nvc and also the last bunch of documents that i sent after case completion...hope they send it to mumbai consulate...
