hello everyone,

i am fairly new to this forum and i was hoping that i could get some help figuring out how my fiancee and i will go about the financial support requirement.

i am from the philippines but my fiancee and i met in the US. I left the US (with a tourist visa) and my fiancee resigned from his job and followed me to my country after a month. he stayed here in the philippines with me for almost 4 years without working.

late last year he came back to the US to work and to start our K1 process. he filed for taxes for 2005 since he made more than the minimum untaxable earnings. he earns at least 3x more than the requirement to be able to support someone.

my questions would be:

1. will his earnings and savings now be enough evidence of financial support?

2. do we need to get a co-sponsor?

3. can i also include my own assets as proof that i won't be a burden?

suggestions on what we should do would be greatly appreciated.

best regards,

baba

baba you may find this thread here useful as it deals directly with Manila http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=1596&hl=manila

I do know that Manila requires 3 years tax returns.
