Why there are pinays out there who feels so conceited about theirselves once they arrived here in the States?

I didn't intended to show off the "SIRAAN" portion dear. As to what echoed above from my posts, this can SERVE as a wake up call sa mga pinay na kung umasta dito sa amerika ay parang mga reyna reynahan, mga mahahangin, at pinaka kita ang kanilang ka walang edukadahan. Isn't so shameful? I feel pity for them since they are causing their selves to not find a real friendship between fellow pinays around the area.

I don't mind making friends with pinay,and you are very right that if they don't act well... IGNORE.

I must admit, I do select my friends. Because like the old sayings said, "tell me who your friends are, and I'll tell you who you are".

AGAIN, I was addressing the beautiful pinays to just ACT right, that's the purpose of this post. So I didn't wish to get this topic be ignored and neglected.

I have been to few states for work purposes and sometimes when I met a filipina as well, considering the time she was just here in the states, (say just 2-6 months) they feel like they've just earn the right to be a b**ch, and some thinks their a$*es don't stink.. I mean, there are so many trying hard to blend-in that quick in the American way ( e.g the way they cloth their selves, the way they talk, interpret things). Just because some girls married a foreigner they evolved too quick. I don't blame other people why they would immediately think that these types of gals really just use their husbands as a ticket to the USA. It makes me aggravated everytime I come across with a fellow pinay who acts like this.

Why can't we just put our feet on the ground and stay humble. CAN SOMEBODY ENLIGHTEN ME WHY THIS HAPPENS???

You don't need any kind of enlightenment so long as they aren't a PITA on you and you aren't hurting them, then why care. Don't give a rat's sh*t, not worth feeling an aggravation. Just be happy you're not of them!

You will always encounter some people that are trying hard. It's not only happening to Filipino's but some other races as well. I meet Filipino's here like in malls and store's that are snobbish at first but what I do is I always approach them saying Hello! Hi! Kumusta? in good timing. If they answer in English fine and if Tagalog much better. lol But what I think is really funny is that when Mexican approached me and speak to me in Spanish thinking I'm one of them. ( out of topic? ) Hahaha but what comes to my head when I meet some people like that is always the words "OH HOW PITIFUL"

I think bmtrrbt meant people in general. Wag makialam sa buhay ng may buhay - mapa-pinoy man o ibang lahi. If they're becoming dumber and dumber, so? It's not your life to care about. It's not even your loved ones'.. If you aren't one of those Filipinos, whom you said, think highly of themselves so much, then why feel so aggravated. Everyone is different, there are reasons why people change, why people act dumb, why people feel jealous, why people are this and that. Me mga kababayan din naman tayo sa Pinas, like galing sa Visayas or Mindanao, nakatuntong lang ng Manila eh di na marunong magsalita ng sarili nilang dialect like Bisaya. It's pretty much the same.

the OP has no bad intention to have this thread.. just making us all pinay be reminded.... and i think there is nothing wrong with this at least who pinay read this thread maiisip rin nila un sarili nila kung AKO ba ay ganoon din ... and pag-nakapag-isip sila at least mababago nila kung ano man ang dapat baguhin sa mga ginagawa nila... but of course sa mga pinay na hindi nman ganito eh di be thankful tau kc hindi namn tau like nila... asa sa tao na un.. kun mabait sila, at educated sila they will not act like that dba... pero kung friend ko ang ganyan naku me tama sa kin un whehehe... ok lang un kc frend ko namn sya eh at kung totoong frend ka sasabihan mo sya kc love mo sya dba?... ska hindi mo gugustuhin na un frend mo eh pinag-uusapan sa lugar nyo... o pinag-uusapan ng kapwa mo pinoy/pinay... There's more important stuff to think about and minding other people's business is a waste of time.
