I was just wondering - after reading a post from another VJ member about documentation for my son. It had stated that I need a a copy of the passport or some other govn't document of his father. Now i have my divorce judgement papers that state I hvae sole custody and also a notorized court order or settlement showing that he has been notified of the move and that he will not be fighting it. should this be sufficeient. We are going for our interview in a week and a half and I want to make sure I have absolutely everything so that we have a postive outcome.

If anyone has an answer that would greatly appreciated.

thank you,

Hi suzique,

I'm not all that familiar with this, but from what I have read on VJ, a copy of the passport or other document from the Father is not requested. Can you link to the topic/post?

I assume this post was from a fellow Canadian? All consulates vary on documentation they require, in general.
