AOS

December 30, 2005: I-485 received by USCIS

May 5, 2006: Interview at Phoenix district office. Approval pending FBI background check clearance. AOS finally approved almost two years later: February 14, 2008.

Received 10-year green card February 28, 2008

Yeah, that was pretty funny. I've developed a kind of weird tick where I snort in amusement when I see a negative. I'm not sure what that's all about.

I see that most the negative votes were because is potentially "spam" per the VJ TOS. I understand both perspectives. Generally members should request permission from the administration before posting any advertising of any kind that promotes something that they are affiliated with. Our sniff test is generally "do you benefit financially" or "materially" from this. I would encourage the OP to msg me and we can clear it all up. For now I am closing until we walk through the proper steps. Sorry for the slow response by me -- travel was crazy this week and I am finally back to my PC on a regular basis.
