I have to say that I'm glad to see this thread. While I am not glad that people haven't gotten their NOA2, I am glad that I am not the only one who hasn't. Yes, I understand that I am not even at the 3 month mark yet, but when I saw VSC blast through a good portion of December filers over the past few weeks, my hopes got up. Checking my email, running to the mail box, etc., makes one very depressed when nothing is to be found. After the latest "spurt"from VSC I guess it is time to hunker back down and just deal with it. This process has been the most difficult and frustrating thing I have ever imagined. There is no "fairness" to this process. We are all at the mercy of people who don't know us and simply look at us as a bunch of forms and some pictures in a bag with names on the back. It'll happen soon. I know it will. We all just have to hang in there.

Well, its really out of our control isn't it. So just focus on the other things. Get ur I134 and police certificates in order. Its a long process to go from I129F to a Green card and anybody can hit a glitch at any stage. A lot of the nov filers had to wait close to 120 days for the NOA2. Its a common case for NOA2s to expire before ppl schedule an interview. So expect to wait 4 months and just get on with you life and be pleasantly surprised if it happens earlier. Once you get it the the waiting period won't mean anything.

Good luck Steve,

Sowmya

my friend, you have a while to go yet. it took us 6 months from NOA1 to NOA2, then another 5 for our interview. our NOA1 was April 23, 2009 and we still dont have visa in hand (although we expect it in the coming weeks. so sit back, relax (easier said then done) and try not to have a heart attack. in the end--and im not even at the end--i can tell you it is worth it. it is a long and cruel process, but worth it. read, learn, keep your stress levels down, save your money.

good luck!!

Hello! You should not worry, first of all you are still within USCIS timeframe...Second, we too have not received ANY touches at all until it just said "APPROVED" one day...so don't worry about them not posting touches, it does not mean no one is working on your package... I think you must hear from USCIS real soon! :) Also, you wonder why some people get their NOA2 quickly and some not, that's cause everybody's case is different. It takes more time for USCIS to investigate some cases and make a decision... Good luck!

I'm starting to worry our files got lost or something??

We recieved our NOA1 December 1st, and according to the USCIS website, it was last touched Dec4th.

I've been looking every day since then for touches or updates but absolutely nothing. I've also been watching Igor's list daily and it seems like people with dates well after ours are recieving they're NOA2's. What's going on!!??

Even the VisaJourney website says the Vermont offices are now up to December 23rd NOA dates.

Should I be worried? What should I do?? I've been waiting and waiting, but i'm starting to worry now that people with dates well after mine are recieving the're next notices while I get nothing?

Thanks everyone!

I wouldn't worry that much. Mine was not touched at all. When I received my first update they said it was approved. So just think positive.

Everyone is so wonderful!

It really is such a comfort to have people know exactly what Simon and I are going through. Sometime's it gets so frustrating to think "PEOPLE JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND!"

So thank you for your collective experience and support! Good luck to everyone else out there that's playing the waiting game too.

Sarah
