Unfortunately marital rape is still classified as "rape" none-the-less... Please seek help for her and continue to be supportive but do not influence nor convince her to go back home to him.

I'm not sure if this was just a mis-type on your part, but I wouldn't use the word "unfortunately" here. Unfortunately indicates that you don't think it should be classified as rape. Maybe you really do feel that way, maybe not. But I definitely do not. Rape is rape, if you say no, you say no. It doesn't matter if that person is your husband/boyfriend/girlfriend/wife/whatever.

Sounds like the OP has some good advice here though. Good luck to all of those involved.

I think there has excellent advice been given already so I won't repeat it.

Just wanted to say I am very sorry about what happened to your sister. I am wishing her all the best and I hope she will feel better soon.

Don't worry about her status, this all will fall into place.

And don't feel guilty about not getting involved earlier. It's not your fault and you didn't know earlier. She is lucky to have a big sister there to be there for her now and care for her, same goes for your husband.

She needs people like you guys on her side.
