The original is sent as part of the initial K-1 petition. One of the two copies you make of it prior to sending it is sent to the beneficary for their interview.

SEND THE ORIGINAL I-129F TO USCIS with the other supporting documents when you file the petition.

Keep one copy (of everything) for yourself, send one copy (of everything) to your finacee.

A copy should be fine - they never even asked Karin to see it.

I took the original and a copy just in case they wanted to see it but they never asked.

Make sure you keep the original NOA2 in a safe place too, you'll need it later on down the road.

I scanned the NOA2 and let Nik print it out. I would not recommend mailing the NOA2 anywhere if you can help it - it may get lost and it's hundreds of dollars (REALLY!) to replace.

If scanning/emailing/printing is not viable, then copy and snail mail works just as well.
