What sort of bacteria are we talking about here? And how do we know the fewer bacteria in toilet water aren't more harmful?

Luckily, I don't visit fast food restaurants more than once a year unless you count kebab places.

Beer taps actually can get so funky that you can taste it. Good bars will regularly clean the taps, but otherwise you're better off with a bottle. Fast food is nasty for more reasons than the ice, and if you are worried about something that you've been doing for years with no perceptible negative consequences... fahgeddaboutit.

I watched "Mythbusters" the other day and they found that their toilet SEAT was far cleaner than either the floors or the KITCHEN TABLE. Also, a dog's mouth was cleaner than one of the guys'.
