I have been a member for a long time using the VJ website and I am very thankful for all the help it has provided me.

It seems like all of us waiting on petitions aren't asking too much. We all have loved ones far away and long to see them. I myself have travelled across the ocean four times to see my fiance. What choice do I have in our crazy world? Life is so hard having to listen to tears on the other end of a telephone line.

Just yesterday I got a letter from my Senator saying that he didn't approve of the Immigration Reform. Senator Sunnunu (NH) went on to speak about immigrant status of people who have been here for a long time and how they could get citizenship.

Buddy you didn't even read a word of my letter. I wrote about IMBRA and how it keeps loved ones apart and he sends out a generic letter that doesn't address anything I wrote about.

Anyhow, everyone hold in there. MY RFE was received by VSC on June 18th and I haven't been touched at all.

The process is long and hard. I'm not worried at all, but I think that our system is so inefficient.

I just had to vent. It's been a long hard time alone.

Good luck to all.

Your timeline looks a lot like mine. NOA2 in early April, case sent to the embassy, packet 3 received, then had it all taken away. My RFE was received by VSC on June 20th, and except for 2 touches on July 26 and 27th, I haven't been touched since.

I'm also not worried, I'm sure within "30 days" my visa will be approved. But I also sometimes need to vent, I sort of went off to my parents yesterday about how incompetent all these people are. My parents asked if I had called them or contacted my sentators and I just laughed.

Good luck Tim, I'm sure one of these days some VSC employee will spot all of our recall petitions in the corner collecting dust and push them through.
