Guyss thankssssssssssssss so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The consul called us first after lunch! It was about 1:30pm!

He asked if I was on the US on a J1 visa, then he said that he saw in my DS230 that I had a change of status for a B2 but he couldn't find the visa on my passport. I explained that I didn't get the visa stamp, only the approval by USCIS, then I offered him to see the approval and he said ok. I showed him the NOA2 and he said great.

Then he asked hubby when he got in BR, if was only for the interview, he said he's been here for 9 months, then he asked if we are planning to leave right away, we said yes.

He asked what hubby is up to in BR, he said he is unemployed but used to work with computer programming in the US.

Then he said everything looked fine and to go pay the mail.

I couldn't believe!!! He wished us a great day and we left. He was really nice, didn't ask any more questions at all. The interview was like chatting really, I didn't feel like I was being interrogated.

Then we left the Consulate, got a cab and came to this beautiful Ipanema beach!!!!

We can finally relax!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's like taking a piano out of my back!!! I'm sooo relieved.

Thanks so much you guys! I'm sorry you were all worried. I was too! I was praying at the waiting room all the time. hahahahahahhaa

At the end hubby was more nervous than me.

THANKS SO MUCH!!!! I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did not recieve Packet 4 so even if you don't recive it in time before the interview I wouldn't worry about it. Your interview letter is pretty much all that you need. If there are no missing documents indicated in your interview letter then there is nothing more you need to submit to VFS. All we did with VFS was submit the courier fees and get a sticker on my passport. We did not submit the medicals either to VFS since my wifes medical was 2 days before the interview. We did not submit a new DS-230 to VFS since there were no changes in the original version. The DS-230 that my wife signed during the interview was the one we submitted to NVC and was with the consular.

I think since you did not submit your local PCC may be that's one thing you can submit to VFS.

Thanks vivek - this is great info and clarification!
