Johanna, I had POE in JFK in the past and it's very easy! Don't worry! They didn't ask anything!

Oh,I have aswell, very easy POE. I was just thinking of giving you some details about how they process you coming in on a CR-1. How long it takes etc so you can get a better estimate on when you inlaws can expect to pick you guys up!

It would be mucho cool if we were to meet at the airport,haha! Sitting in the little secondary room together!

The CO told me that I shouldn't worry too much if I was seated next to a guy in handcuffs,haha! He really was a funny guy!

we had over 5000 email titles - and those are just the ones we printed. then thousands of skype call logs. if that isn't proof - what is!?!?

Not that it mattered - since they didn't look.

ok here's what we have:

- nearly a year of phone logs

- nearly a year of emails and chat logs (will take screen shots)

- about 300 or so photos chronicling our wedding and vacations and us being together

- joint bank account and credit card statements showing financial support of me to my wife

- greeting cards and 1-800 flowers receipts

- itineraries of us going on vacation, my trip in april (boarding passes)

- videos of our marriage

- naming her as a beneficiary on my 401k and other retirement and life insurance beneficiary forms

ok so we dont have a kid to show but i think the above more than suffices!

You won't be able to bring your wedding video to the consulate. No electronic media allowed inside the consulate. But your list looks comprehensive :-).

Thanks - Oh i know about the video or any other electronic devices; guess we'll take the CD just in case anyway; just want to be totally prepared in case they push out a DVD player and ask for proof!
