Yeah, I think she would know the answer.

I agree even though we are all excited about the interview & coming to US we have to stop & think we are leaving a lot behind like family.

Are your parents able to visit in the future? Or your sis?

Yes, this process is slowly sucking all our money out of us. I too cannot wait till I no longer have to deal with all this anymore & actually live a normal family life w/hubby next to me. I never ever want to talk to anyone on Yahoo Messanger! I HATE THAT THING BY NOW!!!

I'm very attached to my mom. We are planning that she, my sis and husband could go to the US to spend x-mas with us.

Although, everything is so unsure... we don't have jobs yet. I'm very concerned about finding a place to rent and all that.

I really hope we are settled by December though. But only God knows....

My mom went to the US last year to visit us. Then we came back together. She spent a month there and really liked it. So she has a visa already and can stay up to 6 months. My dad has to apply for one as well my sister and her husband.

I don't think it will be difficult for them at all. They have good jobs and strong ties to Brazil.

How about your hubby Tat? Is he anxious at all?

OH that would be nice if they visit. What state is your hubby in again?

Just for "research" have you checked out Craigs List to maybe find a place for the future?

Well, hope all works out & they can visit you. Would they ever want to live in US?

Hubby is okay. He has been traveling a lot & has not lived in his house really for 7yrs (but now he has been stuck there for 1yr). We plan to visit India at least once a year & his parents & siblings will visit for sure. I really would love if they could move here but thats another story.

I want to be able to not have to be stuck to my computer because he only has 1 hour to chat! or all the "baby, I can't hear you, your phone is breaking..." AHHHHHHHHHHH. LOL.

& yes we have that too where he cant hear me. Especially when Gisele goes to bed & I have no choice but to talk softly so those conversations are short because he can't hear a word I am saying. :(

amen to that! given the fact that i just dropped ~ 1200 bucks on goign and seeing my wife, summer tix prices are sky high. a OW ticket for my wife and RT for me is putting me at 2200 bucks (and yes, i know i dont have to go, but i dont want to just tell my wife to get on a plane alone; i want to help her move, given that its probably the biggest move [literally!] she's ever made in her life!). at this point, i've realized that starting a family and having my wife here with me is all way more than worth anything and everything. i do know that all this nonsense will end in a couple of months and things can be sort of normal after that. i dont think you can ever think about the money aspect of things, cuz it'll just end up being depressing. c'mon normalcy!

I don't think they would live in the US. Maybe go there to do a master degree or something but live permanently only if one of them get transferred to the US.

My mom is divorced to my dad, so I really feel bad living her down here "alone".

I would love if she could move up one, who knows... but as you said... that's another story....

I think its sweet what you are doing by actually going there & supporting her in the interview process & then the major move to a different world then she is use to. If hubby never would of never been to the states, I too maybe would of gone there to fly back with him.

Your wifey has never been to the states, right?

I think this is so sweet. I'm leaving hubby to fend for himself! HAHAHA. No but seriously, if I didn't have our little one and had some money saved up (bought a house recently), I would definitely be there for the interview. I think it would add so much to the validity of our relationship.

What state do hubby's parents live in?

Even though I want hubby's parents to live in the states, they are older & I think older people have a harder time readjusting to a totally different world. My parents have been in the states for 19yrs now but I think they would be much happier in Ukraine where they can feel themselves at home & actually speak the language.

I hope it all works out for your mom! It must be hard for her being you guys are so close.

OMG! i cant f******n wait to not call one of these stupid phone services (i use Reliance India)!!!!!!!!!!!! they ALL totally suck! just wanna be able to call her normally. funny was just talking to her about getting her an iphone and having the service set up for a new line to give to her during the interview trip...

I use Free Call Planet & I HATE IT!!!!!

I too want to get hubby a really nice phone that he really wants. Its Nokia somethign (will have to ask). I want to suprise him for his bday & or just a welcome home present.

HAHAHA. Yeah, its kind of hard to keep your sexy voice on when your battling static or just a bad connection!
