Now I'm kind of hating the weekends again....go time go Keeping VERY busy though...girls night (get them in while I have time) then Mother's day at my house sun, so Sat cleaning and cooking. Darnell, don't even ask, after Estrellas feasts, mine will look like a bologna sandwich on wonderbread

Hi guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went out to get my hair cut and some shopping!!! Bought a nice bottom down shirt for the interview!!!

OMG!!!! We are leaving to Rio on Monday!!!!!!!!! Medical on Tuesday and interview on Thursday!!!

3 more days till we leave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Same time I'm scared of the interview, I can't wait to get it done with!

Hope I don't freak out too much on Wednesday!!!!!!!!

VFS has has couriered my wifes passport with the Visa and waiting for it to be picked up at Cochin Blue Dart office. Apparently they will not deliver it to her home town which is 2 hours away from Cochin, even though there is a blue dart office in her town. Apparently only certain blue dart offices have the authority to handle passports and visas.

My wife will pick it up on Saturday from the courier office. They said they will hold it for the pick up. They asked her to bring an ID or copy of her passport biographic page for the pick up. Feels bad that she has to do all this run around while she can be using this time for other exciting things before her departure.

that sucks! guess its probably good idea then to just pick it up from the vfs when there's a chance to do so right after the interview. will remember to do that!

I agree, whew! Are you nervous?

Of course, I'm a woman in love, but not too, too much. First that RFE really screwed me up and put things in perspective. There was no end in sight with the trouble getting the documents from London, then the mail stuck for weeks in customs. It really did a number to my sanity, my job suffered, I suffered and became a hermit, so I'm being positive now, so much of this is out of our control! It was a real shock and surprise when we got the LIF before we even got the RFE documents. The NVC just wanted to be rid of us (I think we have a strong case) and sent us to the Embassy, where it is required that we bring the RFE documents to the interview-which we received a few weeks ago and I told him to have his mother hold onto! :rofl: It is just such an unbelievably crazy process to finally found the man of my dreams and have this torture. Big picture he is soooooo worth the BS.

I do feel every so often I am forgetting something for the interview though......

He has complete copies of all of the submitted documents.....Color coded for me(pink), him(blue), Albania, London and NVC.

The RFE documents!!!!!!!

New passport pictures for medical and interview.

Vaccination card for medical

Relationship pictures, skype chat logs, emails, flight stubs, credit card receipts, skype bills.

Will be getting first medical thursday and second next thursday......

not sure what else :bonk:

I would love to go, but tickets are $1500+ right now, which I can't justify in my head. Albania seems to be a fairly friendly Embassy, he'll be fine, he's smart and like all of the other husbands, cool as a fricken cucumber. :wacko:

Yes this seems to be the best way to go about it. Be prepared to Stay an extra day in Chennai after the interview.

I mean, I know in my heart that I'¨ll be fine...it's just my head (that always overthinks everything) that's causing the thurmoil!

We'll all be fine! May is going to be a great month for all of us and we are all going to laugh at this insanity in March!! (I'll have to come solo to Vegas though)

What would I do without you guys? Well...I know I wouldn't be here atleast! Probably stuck at NVC ready to have a serious meltdown!
