Just got home after my interview. Visa Approved!

I wasn't asked for any of the things I brought with me, it was a 15 minutes process of first the Visa Assistant looking over my papers, and then talking to a Immigration Officer for a few minutes. He only asked me a couple of questions before telling me he had no doubts about the validity of our marriage, and telling me I'd recieve my passport back in 2 - 3 days with the visa in it.

What was wrong with the Xray?

They found an abnormality on it. Now the mom has to go in for a sputum test for 3 days. I guess the culture sample takes about 2 months to grow.

Partying until nearly 3 AM. That marriage was effectively over within the first 10 months, even though we stayed living together for 3 more years out of a misguided concern for our son.

Yes. He's 6. He lives here with me. My ex is an American-born Thai; he still lives here in the same city as me. He's an active part of his son's life. Husby knows this and has agreed to either be civil or be quiet.

Merlaine should be giving some sort of news really soon. Kevin said that she would be going back around 1pm....its 1:35 pm now......hope she has good news!!
