Hey everyone, I have finally strated to organize everything for the interview I want to run my list by everyone just incase I havent thought of something:

Medical:

everything sealed in an envolope

USCIS:

*I-130 packet <copied exactly what I sent in>

*I-129f packet <copied exactly what I sent in>

*NOA1 and NOA2 for both packets

NVC:

*DS-3032

*Reciept for AOS and IV bill paid

*AOS packet <copied exactly what I sent in>

*DS-230 packet <copied exactly what I sent in>

*Interview Letter <email from NVC>

Hubby:

*Birth Certificate

*Passport

*Certificate of live Birth Report

*Ration Card

*CBSE for 10-12th standard

Wife:

*Original Divorce Decree

*Passport <showing the visa and stamps to and from India with dates>

*Birth Certificate

*SC card <with last name change to husbands>

*DL <with last name changed to husbands>

Marriage Bonafides: <In no paticular order yet>

*email of astrology reading sent to Amit from me <a chart comparison to make sure we were compatable, it so happens that our Moon is at the exact same degree which is AWESOME >

*Pictures drawn from my girls of us all together as a family, Letters written to Amit from girls, Cards Amit sent the girls with recipts from the jewlery he bought them

this is what I have so far... am I missing anything? anything I should add?

Looks good to me but did you send your 2009 taxes with your AOS? If not,you should have them present at the interview. I just don't remember if you did,sorry hun!

Ae you the only sponsor or do you have a co?

If you are the only one and you qualify I don't think you need to confuss the Embassy with a new 864. We all know how easily confused these people are,haha!

That's what Mr. Sachinky did. He crosses the threshold easily with two jobs and so he sent me a new I-864 with all the supporting documentation. I submitted that to VFS last week. Hoping that the joint sponsor becomes irrelevant in light of this new information.

exactly!! But.. I havent mailed him anything, because I am flying there to attend the interview.. atleast be the nonverbal cheerleader behind the bleachers

The first I-864 that I sent in had 2 sponsors... At that time I was only a mere $1,000 over to qualify by myself, so I got my father to sponsor him also so that there wouldnt be any gliches.... But now... this second job I took on puts me about $17,000 over... so I dont think I would need a cosponsor... Lets see... I am planning on having it all ready and collecting paychecks up until I depart to make it as current as possible.. Amit will submit it at the time of interview if they will allow, or if the first AOS wont go through for some odd reason..

I was reading in another thread... and something just crossed my mind that I hadnt even thought of...

What are you planning on wearing at the interview? Do you think it matters? My hubby has 2 looks... jean and t-shirt <ya know, the kind with logo> or typical indian wear....

You think he should wear american dress causual.. I think I could have a panick attack... He is going to hate this.. but..

maybe he could get away with wearing Khaki pants, polo shirt and some loafers... <sigh>

I know they recommend that you dress very nicely for the interviews in Manila. I'd say more professional than casual

So, like dress slacks and shoes with a button down shirt? Oh gosh... I dont ever see him wearing a tie. come on now please say no tie.. I think he might die can it be a short sleeve shirt? maybe gray slacks? I will definetly have to take a gozillion pics because I think it will be his first and last time in buisness clothes... <sigh> I need to talk to someone that knows what cool american guy clothes are that are "buisness" interview appropriate <I will call my little bro>.. I have already worned Hubby that he cant go to the interview in a 3 day old beard!!! Lets see how this talk will go tonight

Yeh, no tie necessary, just a nice pair of slacks and a button front shirt. Dockers and a button up shortsleeve maybe?? I'd say definitely no jeans or t-shirts.
