Well when I was visiting my hubby amont the things I forgot at his place were two pairs of underwear and socks. He asked me if he should take my underwear to the intervew

So, I just finished compiling evidence for hubby to re-establish domicile in the US (since he's been in BR for 9 months) and this is what I got. Do you think it's enough? I don't think they are too picky in BR as they are in Canada, but just in case.....

• Bank statement from Anybank (March 2010) showing that I hold a bank account in the USA; I have kept a permanent address in anycity, New Jersey; I have continued to pay bills in the USA.

• Copy of current NJ driver’s license showing that I hold a permanent address in anycity, NJ and that I have a current license. Original can be provided upon request.

• Capital One credit card statements (November 2009, January 2010 and March 2010).

• Most recent statement from bla bla bla Investments, showing that I have money invested in stocks in the USA.

• Bank statement from Anybank showing that I have been paying for a storage unit in the USA.

• Copy of US federal tax return, listing my current address in anycity NJ.

So, any thoughts?

Looks good!

My husband is started to clean OUR house. Its really nice to say OUR.. His mom is helping him.

My mother in law is planning to have a wedding reception on june. Im really sooooooo excited.....

I'm grateful they are receiving us but so tired to live with parents. We have been living with my mom for 9 months already, and will have to live with in-laws for a few months too. Argh!!!

I wanna have my own place! And yes! I can't wait to be able to buy all new stuff for our home! Matt hates decorating, so I'll do whatever I want!! hehe

I agree with you! I am living with my sis now & we will live there till Azad finds a job. I too cannot wait to have our own place! I already found the apartments I like.

Hi Taty,

I dont know exactly, but its a general vaccination which all of us should take.....it didnt cost that much either....It was just 117 INR....Any ways I try to get the info by today....

Raj

Thanks!

The MMR vaccination is Rs. 116.

And Tat, for India, they don't really accept anything from anyone else.

I took a note from my pediatrician who is quite a reputed doctor in Calcutta. The doctor who did my medical said it did't matter and that it was not good enough for U.S. immigration. Because India is a corrupt country, they are unwilling to accept anything from some place else not designated by the U.S. Consular Affairs in India.

Seriously, you're stressing out over nothing. It'll be no more thann $100 for the whole thing. It's not like they will make him take ALL the shots on the list. Just one or two which would age appropriate for him.

Thank you! I agree!

You're doing it right already, hon, by having everything done in the same place. You'll be fine.

Thank you!

my japanese cell phone is no longer active, so i can no longer email the messages to myself. he could do that with his phone. since he is still in japan. but i don't know if he would want to spend the time doing it. hahah.

also guys,

what happens if you fail the interview??

do you have to reapply from the I-130? can you never apply again if you fail??

Oh I see.

Think positive thoughs!
