This afternoon I had general physical check up and I end up taking 2 Vaccinations also....The report will be ready to pick by 2moro 3PM....

I was planning on taking it in my laptop bag as well but apparently metal zips aren't allowed inside the Consulate.

So I'll be carrying all my folders in giant plastic bags.

How exciting!!!! I can't wait till hubby is going to be about a week away from his interview.

Don't remember if you mentioned it but will hubby be allowed inside for your interview or?

She is nervous and excited at the same time. I think I overwhelmed her with all the documents I sent her :-) but she is ready.

tokyo doesn't allow cell phones in the embassy either!

so we cannot use old phone mails (2 years worth) as evidence....

If they allow cell phones or ipod touch it would be so much easier to show them pictures and texts huh?

Really you think he should do at some local one? To save money or? I just figured it't better to do everything at the hospital the Embassy suggested to be on the safe side.

& now that we are sort of aware of what shots he may have (hope they won't make him do more) it won't be as expensive as we though. It should be around $100 for the whole Medical (fingers crossed)

I was just thinking time and money. Bangkok docs don't care where you got the immunizations or bloodwork so long as you have evidence. So Husby had titers drawn at the public hospital in Bangkok where his friend is a doc. It took them nearly a month to process. I finally turned all :girlwerewolf2xn:and called the hospital for the results myself. He then got immunizations in the province where he lives. He forgot to get his Td booster, so he's going back to get that one tomorrow. Then he'll go to the medical next Friday. From a bill of 4000 baht, it should now only be 2095 baht. The titers were free and the immunizations, including this Td he's missing, are around 500 baht. So he saved 1500 baht by getting it all done in his home province before the medical exam. That's three full tanks of gas or a month's worth of food for him.

I don't know how the docs at your hospital are, though. There certainly isn't any harm in having everything done there. For us, though, it was more important that he save money to give to his mother.

I so wish!! Husby could use the whole frikkin phone as evidence to go with our story (Birthday present. Flew over to surprise him and get married for his birthday last year.)

Can you somehow copy them & email it to yourself & print it out? (I have an Iphone & there is a way, not sure what phone you have)

I agree with the whole money saving thing. Why did it take a month for the results? Should I be worried?

It's in 7 days US time 10:30 PM on wednesday.....I am freaking out more and more with each day...I'm soooo not sleeping that night, should have gotten thursday off....

I think once I see approvals pouring in for May interviews I will calm down a little bit.

Well when I was visiting my hubby amont the things I forgot at his place were two pairs of underwear and socks. He asked me if he should take my underwear to the intervew

So, I just finished compiling evidence for hubby to re-establish domicile in the US (since he's been in BR for 9 months) and this is what I got. Do you think it's enough? I don't think they are too picky in BR as they are in Canada, but just in case.....

• Bank statement from Anybank (March 2010) showing that I hold a bank account in the USA; I have kept a permanent address in anycity, New Jersey; I have continued to pay bills in the USA.

• Copy of current NJ driver’s license showing that I hold a permanent address in anycity, NJ and that I have a current license. Original can be provided upon request.

• Capital One credit card statements (November 2009, January 2010 and March 2010).

• Most recent statement from bla bla bla Investments, showing that I have money invested in stocks in the USA.

• Bank statement from Anybank showing that I have been paying for a storage unit in the USA.

• Copy of US federal tax return, listing my current address in anycity NJ.

So, any thoughts?
