here is what i am gonna have as evidence for the interview!

-3 years of photos together

-Cards, letters, gifts, etc

-Money Transfer Statement

-Japanese bank card

-Phone Bills (usa & japan)

-Three Year Japan Visa

-Relationship Details

US consulate in Cambodia hasn't updated their interview list since April 9th! and i'm not on that list:( Common someone is slacking!

I think you are fine. Some people like to add an affidavit from friends and family. I'll take one with me from my father in law, and maybe ask my mom to write one in Portuguese as well.

Update....took all of last week off from VJ

Happy Monday May group......soooo exciting, we're almost there! So it's a great indication that all of our April Friends have gotten approvals, that gives me HUGE peace of mind and hope for lots of Approvals for us. It seems VJers are thoroughly prepared surprise, surprise!

Well, I feel like I'm forgetting something, because I am so nice and relaxed- everything is done! The last pieces were the mail getting through the volcano cloud with the original court records, which they did last week, and his medical exams (2 of them) 2 weeks before interview and one week exactly. He got his vaccine card, I told him to have his mom hold his passport so he doesn't lose it and now it's just waiting.

I feel great about our group. I think we may get some requests for evidence, but LOTS OF APPROVALS! Let the excitement begin....COME ON MONDAY :dance:

It is 30 days, 16 hours, 52 minutes and 8 seconds until Thursday, May 27, 2010 at 9:00:00 AM (Tirane time)

Documents submitted to VFS earlier this afternoon.

They took my medical, DS230 Part I & II, photocopy of all passport pages, and Rs. 387 for the DHL courier fee. And three passport pictures. I also submitted my husband's new I-864 and accompanying documentation. They also asked to see some pictures of us together which I thought was strange but I have a bunch stored on my phone so I switched it back on and showed them our best lovey-dovey pictures.

The guy at the helpdesk was very helpful and informative and did a lot to calm down my nerves. I was in and out within 45 minutes.

Now all that is left is the INTERVIEW! 15 days, 11 hours, 17 minutes and 1 second to go!

I agree--I just want to be done and over with this process.

This waiting is sheer torture.

Did you ever receive anything is the mail from Mumbai Embassy (I believe you said you did). Hubby spoke to them & they told him he is not suppose to receive anything & to use the interview letter we got over email from NVC. IS that right or?

I did receive the appointment letter from Bombay (and a bunch of their website PDFs printed out) even though I was told I wouldn't and that my NVC email would be enough.

It was dated 04/05 and I received it 04/15.

Does anyone get the same feeling when you look to the calendar or the ticker under your signature?

I feel like trowing up when I see the countdown to the interview!!! My heart stops when I see the numbers going down!

Oh gosh!!!!!!!!!!! I'll have a heart attack at the interview!! God help me!!!!

I do nat!! lol.. Actually i made my personal calendar.. LOL I keep counting the days and looking at my documents to bring in my interview.

I cant believe how thick it is.

God will be on us in our interview! we are almost over of waiting for soooooooo long.....................

I know you are cery excited ,me too... Everytime im looking at my intervieew date my knees started to shake! im trembling.. LOL..Goodluck to us!!

Hey group! Can someone post the link to the required vaccination schedule, I can't remember where I saved it and am too tired to search My husband never got the Hep B vaccine, he'll call in the morning to clarify everything and get it done ASAP if needed. It's 3 doses, so he's worried there may be a waiting period between doses.....figure it out tomorrow...YAWN!!!
