I was wondering... I called the AVR to check the status and it still says: you case was completed on...."

It will be updated to "your package left NVC on..." or something like that?

Thanks Ready2KI. I think I will follow this approach since I have nothing new to submit for my interview other than the medicals and proof of relationship. The consular will already have everything he needs to review before the interview. I will have the medical results only three days before the interview so it will be too late to submit to VFS anyway.

Also based on the interview letter I got they don't need any additional documents from me. Nothing is marked "A" in my interview letter.

My wife will be making the courier payment at the Cochin VFS sometime next week. She will be carrying copies of everything that was submitted to NVC for the interview. I really do not want to deal with another "three lettered" organization unless its mandanted

For those who has their interview at Chennai Consulate, this is FYI....Just now called Chennai VFS, they said it is not necessary to submit any docs to them if we had already submitted to NVC. Only the Courier fee of Rs 387 has to be paid to them before 10 days to the interview...

Note - We have to carry all the docs to the interview...

Thanks Raj. I tried calling several times yesterday but I was getting the Busy tone all the time. Reminded me of the good ol NVC.

OMG I am so happy that I will get to be in the 'cool' thread with Sachincky its like being the nerd in school and being able to sit with the cool kids at lunch <of course I am the nerd and yall are the cool kids>

Ok, bare with me, I am going to have a ton of pre interview jitters and mini break downs... just right at this moment I am so happy and satisfied that I even got a normal nights sleep last night , so nothing to share right now SO, here we go:

I plan to be there and camp out before the sun rises, lol. JK but I will most definately be there. Planning to purchase my plane ticket tomorrow. Even though its the interview for my husband, because I am the USC, I really considerate our interview and I will be there to support my beloved husband!!! Thanks so much all you VJ'ers and much love and muck and blessings to all in this thread!!! Lets go get our LOVES!!!!!
