TIME TO PARTY!!!!! VISA APPROVED!!!!!

Thanks to all for your amazing support and help throughout this stressful process!!! Hubby is psyched but I think its kinda bitter sweet for him, ya know... but in any event Daddys coming home!!!!

He will be getting the visa next Thursday, a bummer since I have to fly back Tuesday 6-2... but he will be coming June 15th, just in time for my birthday and our FIRST WEDDING ANNIVERSARY!!!

My husband wants a re-do because they asked him one question... then I jumped in and they asked me the rest!!! More detailed review to follow, but we are kinda famished and we want some lunch! He says that he just went to the embassy for a visit, but that they were more interested in me Maybe it was because i wore a slammin outfit!!!! I was out for blood!

So I got the 2009 transcripts faxed to me already(thanks Nat and Vivek) and am going now to fax them to my honey. Jules(and everyone), I don't know why they asked for them, I submitted complete copies of 07,08 and 09 completed by the same tax preparer every year. No transcripts of any of the years and they only want 09. He faxed me the OF-194 they gave him and it said "Further consideration will be given to your visa application after you obtain and present the documents listed above and /or the following 2009 Tax transcripts from petitioner, bust be obtained directly from www.irs.gov.

THANK GOODNESS they fax them, or this would've been another delay for us That's why I was so upset. If it helps anyone, I think the "flag" if any was that my 07 and 08 incomes were low because I am self employed, and I reflected a good increase in 09(recession schmession) by not deducting as many of my write-offs. I didn't want a co-sponsor. So I think that was a bit of a question of my income trend and they just wanted to verify maybe I didn't falsify the 09 claim by sending that to them and then something different to the IRS? I'm totally guessing, but that is all I could think of. Otherwise, why don't the want all 2 years transcripts?

So he will get them, but MOn is an American holiday and the Embassy is closed, so he will be there first thing Tuesday and with any luck they will give him the visa tues or maybe wed and hopefully fly out Thurs :thumbs:

Folks I am so happy we made it through this month without loosing our heaads.. ( umm a little bit)

I know some of you will be busy starting a new life..I hope to see you around by the time of our interview.... and we keep in touch for the vegas trip..

So, we are leaving on the 1st and going to NJ to see his parents. Then moving down to MD on Sunday and look for an apartment. Hopefully I'll have internet connection, but I'll do my best to log if otherwise.

I didn't even finished my first luggage. Gotta do some serious packing tomorrow.
