TIME TO PARTY!!!!! VISA APPROVED!!!!!

Thanks to all for your amazing support and help throughout this stressful process!!! Hubby is psyched but I think its kinda bitter sweet for him, ya know... but in any event Daddys coming home!!!!

He will be getting the visa next Thursday, a bummer since I have to fly back Tuesday 6-2... but he will be coming June 15th, just in time for my birthday and our FIRST WEDDING ANNIVERSARY!!!

My husband wants a re-do because they asked him one question... then I jumped in and they asked me the rest!!! More detailed review to follow, but we are kinda famished and we want some lunch! He says that he just went to the embassy for a visit, but that they were more interested in me Maybe it was because i wore a slammin outfit!!!! I was out for blood!

He got the approval she said, but they just need the tax transcripts for 2009! I have complete copies of 2009 submitted by a tax professional for 2007, 08 and 09, but they want the transcripts for 09 specifically. I requested them already, they will be snail-mailed to me and then I can fax them to him. He has a paper saying he can get the visa as soon as he gets the fax from me. So they should come in about 10 days.

So not great news, but not the worst

Gina Babes, I am excited for you, he did get the approval, its just going to take a few more days, minus some beaurocratic bs. That so sucks, but I know you will be super diligent and I really cant wait to see your awesome news. I will be sharing a bottle of wine with you on this day Hang in there babes, you will get your man in the end! You can vent to me anytime until then, I{m not leaving until all my peps finish out strong!!

Thank you so much everyone for the advice, you all calmed me down this morning, I think I was freaking out a bit.....it was 3 AM, and the buildup of tension, then to NOT hear "approved" I melted down a mini bit

The interviewer told him the IRS could fax it to me, I immediately went online but didn't see anywhere where they said that. So I called the automated system and ordered the snail mail copies for safety. The closest IRS office is about an hour away, so I'll call the 800 number online and request a fax, or better from the regional office? I'll do both! The Embassy is closed Mon for Memorial day, so he can drive it down Tuesday morning and hopefully pick up the visa.

Gina yes go to the local IRS office. Where are you in Bay Area? I know there is an IRS office in San Jose and I am pretty there is one in San Francisco and Oakland too. I went to the downtown San Jose office. They gave me the printout of the transcripts right then and there. I was in and out of the office in half hour. If you can get it today and fax it your Husband he can can go the cosulate tomorrow and get the visa before the weekend.

If you filed for an extension then they can't ask for the transcripts cause they don't exist.. To be on the safe side I'd get an updated employment letter and recent paystubs to show you are still making enough money.

That was my thought but hey, we're LOGICAL! I hope that they don't give him any problems. I do have the recent letter of employment and I'll include the latest pay stubs too. Thanks!
