We submitted only courier fees and nothing else to the VFS. When we called the embassy they said we need to atleast pay the courier fees for sure. We directly submitted all the doucments to Chennai embassy on the interview date and had no problems.

Thanks Ready2KI. I think I will follow this approach since I have nothing new to submit for my interview other than the medicals and proof of relationship. The consular will already have everything he needs to review before the interview. I will have the medical results only three days before the interview so it will be too late to submit to VFS anyway.

Also based on the interview letter I got they don't need any additional documents from me. Nothing is marked "A" in my interview letter.

My wife will be making the courier payment at the Cochin VFS sometime next week. She will be carrying copies of everything that was submitted to NVC for the interview. I really do not want to deal with another "three lettered" organization unless its mandanted

Lol, yes I know your Polish. But I didnt realize your wore the one that was applyng. I though it was your hubby who is in Poland.

Ok, I found the piece of paper in which I noted down one VFS receipt sent by a VJ member. Apologies, but I can't remember whether it was for Delhi or Chennai.

Here's what was marked on theirs.

--MEDICAL

--INTERVIEW LETTER

--PASSPORT

--3 PASSPORT SIZE PICTURES

--COURIER FEE

--DS 230.

ahhha! One Balikbayan size box, one large piece of luggage, one carry on that meets the requirements and whatever you can stuff in your purse/personal bag. 23kg for the checked ones and 7kg for the carry on. That's about the biggest volume of space you can fit your stuff in. I feel bad for you cuz that's STILL not nearly enough . My poor wife has to do it in about a month Her sisters have already ransacked her closet..LOL
