I think everyone usually end up calling because we have no patience left. Couple found it out by email. What Embassy you at?

Lol. I know. That;s why I feel stupid asking all these questions because I already know how or what's the answer even before the person replies

So I received the appointment letter and it seems that hubby just has to bring his passport photos and passport to the intervew What???? That's it????I mean of course with the evidence of ongoing relationship - which is not one of the requirements...

I'm sooo confused....

here are the requirements...

* Any original documents that were requested by the NVC but were not submitted

to the NVC - There are none - submitted all

* The medical examination results if not submitted to the Embassy/Consulate by

the physician This is submitted by physician

* The correct size and number of photographs where do I get correct number of photographs?

* Valid passport for all traveling applicants Well I knew about this one

How come the list is so short???? Is this normal? For some reason I was expecting a lot more requirements...Am I overthinking it???

just received interview letter by email from NVC

Tatyana--I will have to submit it 15 days prior to the interview since I'm going from Calcutta. I think it's 3 days prior to the interview for local residents but I could be mistaken.

This is what they asked me to bring:

--DS 230 Part I and II

--Medical

--Photocopy of Marriage Certificate

--Photocopy of Birth Certificate

--Photocopy of both PCCs.

--Original Passport

--Photocopy of EVERY page in the passport.

--Rs. 387 for courier DHL fees.

--Interview Letter from NVC

--2 US visa size pictures.

I will also be submitting a new I-864 at this time.

I am very suspicious of the short list and I emailed the Embassy to be sure....
