Guyss thankssssssssssssss so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The consul called us first after lunch! It was about 1:30pm!

He asked if I was on the US on a J1 visa, then he said that he saw in my DS230 that I had a change of status for a B2 but he couldn't find the visa on my passport. I explained that I didn't get the visa stamp, only the approval by USCIS, then I offered him to see the approval and he said ok. I showed him the NOA2 and he said great.

Then he asked hubby when he got in BR, if was only for the interview, he said he's been here for 9 months, then he asked if we are planning to leave right away, we said yes.

He asked what hubby is up to in BR, he said he is unemployed but used to work with computer programming in the US.

Then he said everything looked fine and to go pay the mail.

I couldn't believe!!! He wished us a great day and we left. He was really nice, didn't ask any more questions at all. The interview was like chatting really, I didn't feel like I was being interrogated.

Then we left the Consulate, got a cab and came to this beautiful Ipanema beach!!!!

We can finally relax!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's like taking a piano out of my back!!! I'm sooo relieved.

Thanks so much you guys! I'm sorry you were all worried. I was too! I was praying at the waiting room all the time. hahahahahahhaa

At the end hubby was more nervous than me.

I want to take this moment to thank all of my brothers and sisters in the "struggle" who have posted their experiences with their interviews. First, we must all remember what brought us to this point in the first place, (including myself), a love so incredible, so extraordinary that it breaks every barrier, every obstacle... including distance itself. I am in heat 4... with our intgerview less than 2 weeks away. I just have to say that I am getting more and more pumped with each day that passes, and with every approval that I read in this forum. I am confident that God has brought us to this place and will not let us down. I am ready to ROCK THIS, sooo ready for those 15 minutes of fame for my beloved hubby, and even more ready for the VJ reunion in VEGAS!!!! I will probably forget these words with all the nerves as the day gets closer, so I figured I wiould share them now! Lets go May!!!!!

And Juls, I really enjoyed my 10 minutes of fame with the CO!!! hahaa

Hubby thinks the CO was surprised with me. I think he had too much people shaking nervous all day that he liked we were just fine!

I was nervous the whole 5 hours waiting. But when I got back from lunch, I was so tired that I gave up on being nervous.

Hubby was nervous though! Poor thing, he said he sat there and couldn't believe I was so confident.

What I want to say is, when God put his hands nothing can go wrong. We find straightness to go through this process and everything is soooo worth it!!!!!

I'm very excited for the upcoming weeks!!!!! I'm sure everyone here will be fine. We are soooo well prepared! Don't let the nervous trick you! Be confident! Nothing can go wrong!!!!

Now, let's root for our friend Marianne (Matt and Rian). She is being interviewed now!!!!!!!!!!!!!
