Hello everyone,

We are just going to file for K-1, and would like to do everything correctly right from the start to avoid losing time with RFEs....hence the questions:

1. G-325A: Employment and residence in the last 5 years: Should the EARLIEST date be exactly 5 years ago? For example, if I moved to an address in 2000, shall I put Jun 2000 or just give them the five years only and cut it to Apr 2005? Same with the employment dates...

2. G-325A Employers addresses meaning number, street, city , country, or just city, country?

3. I-129F Question 13 - Children - Present address - same question - just city, country, or full address....Am asking that because they do leave way too little space for the answer if they want full addresses

4. G-325A: if the answers don't fit in the box, use additional sheet... - One question=One separate additional sheet? Three questions=Three separate additional sheets??

5. Four copies of G-325A = Four copies of all additional sheets?? :bonk:

6. I-129F - to staple or not to staple the 3 sheets together?

I know it might sound like I'm going into TOO much details ... but we just really would not like to take any chances of our case getting 'stuck' due to some tiny thing. Thank you for your time in advance. :)

I don't know if there's a right or wrong answer for most of these, so I'll just say what I did. I didn't get any RFE's, and the petition was approved without any problems.

1. G-325A: Employment and residence in the last 5 years: Should the EARLIEST date be exactly 5 years ago? For example, if I moved to an address in 2000, shall I put Jun 2000 or just give them the five years only and cut it to Apr 2005? Same with the employment dates...

I put the date the employment actually began. It was a few years before the beginning of the 5 year window.

2. G-325A Employers addresses meaning number, street, city , country, or just city, country?

For myself, I put the full street address. For my fiancee, she worked in a village where there are no street numbers or street names. I just put the address as it would have been used to mail something to her employer.

3. I-129F Question 13 - Children - Present address - same question - just city, country, or full address....Am asking that because they do leave way too little space for the answer if they want full addresses

Same as above. Full mailing address.

4. G-325A: if the answers don't fit in the box, use additional sheet... - One question=One separate additional sheet? Three questions=Three separate additional sheets??

There were several addresses on my fiancee's G-325A that didn't fit in the box. I wrote "see attachment" in the box, and provided the addresses on a separate sheet. The address attachment was two sheets, but I listed as many addresses as I could fit on each sheet. At the top of the sheet I wrote "JimVaPhuong - Form G-325A (Beneficiary) - Supplemental Attachment". Above each address I wrote what part of the form it pertained to, for example "Applicant's residence last five years". The attachment pages were placed just behind the G-325A in the packet.

5. Four copies of G-325A = Four copies of all additional sheets?? :bonk:

The new G-325A doesn't need four copies - only one.

6. I-129F - to staple or not to staple the 3 sheets together?

Don't use staples. Use paper clips, or (optionally) two-hole punch all the papers and use an Acco style fastener, as USCIS suggests.

#5 - just one copy of G-325A. Four copies was an old form

I don't believe you are correct about needing only 1 copy G-325A unless this change is extremely recent. I'd send 4 copies or use the form USCIS sends out which is a 4 sheet carbon form. I would also attach 4 copies of each additional sheet so each copy is complete.

Regarding the starting date of your job, it doesn't have to be precise to 5 years ago. If you started more than 5 years ago, then you can put the actual starting date.

Regarding addresses, I wrote small and put the whole address in. Always better to be complete rather than risk a delay.

Hello everyone,

If a start date is outside of the 5 year windows, then list that.

2. G-325A Employers addresses meaning number, street, city , country, or just city, country?

They want the address. The full address. Yes street number included.

3. I-129F Question 13 - Children - Present address - same question - just city, country, or full address....Am asking that because they do leave way too little space for the answer if they want full addresses

They want full addresses. If they wanted only city and country they would have listed that instead. Use a separate sheet and reference to it on the I-129F if you have to.

4. G-325A: if the answers don't fit in the box, use additional sheet... - One question=One separate additional sheet? Three questions=Three separate additional sheets??

Your pleasure.

5. Four copies of G-325A = Four copies of all additional sheets?? :bonk:

New form is only one page.

6. I-129F - to staple or not to staple the 3 sheets together?

Paper clips or binder clips, never staple.

I know it might sound like I'm going into TOO much details ... but we just really would not like to take any chances of our case getting 'stuck' due to some tiny thing. Thank you for your time in advance. :)

Hello everyone once again.....More details wanted :)

I have read here in the forums that each attachment in the I-129F package must be dated and signed... Hence the question: Is it the petitioner who has to sign them all or does he only has to sign the attachments to HIS forms, while the beneficiary signs the attachments to hers?
