If we could place the following amendment to our Constitution, would it be a good idea?

Proposed 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution

"Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States."

Fair enough. Sounds good to me.

The hilarious part is congress would not go for this.

The best part is though, they don't have to. If 2/3 of states write the law to make that an amendment to the constitution, then it becomes such.

I'd expect them to be above the state average... after all, they are the "chosen ones" and the normal rules don't apply to them.
