Got an e-mail from Kiev, saying our documents were received (read - we finally went down to our mailroom and got them) on March 29th and the information packet was mailed.

Phoned a call-center.... no dice.... the only good thing about all this - I managed to call (for a second time) without a PIN code :P

there is a section in kiev site with email quesitons about your k1 visa application. by the way you have to use ie webbroser not mozilla ugggggggg

and i emaild them and got a reply in 1 day, said in the system when it arrived and when the package was sent out to ievgeniia

try that..

good luck

will start next week trying to arrange our interveiw date in june.. trying to get tickets at better price than 1200 each .. and not go to jfk on direct flght to kiev... 11 hours!!! to long for me on my back

Um....if I wasn't clear: I submitted an inquiry through the website and got a response (1 day turnaround) TODAY which said: we are ready to schedule an interview, phone a call-center.

So I did. But they said they don't have the information yet and probably won't have it until Tuesday (holiday Monday), since they are going to get updates Friday night.

So that's that.

That is good news. I have a question for the medical interview, Do they assign you a date? or do you schedule it like the visa interview? Will the medical interview provide all necessary shots and papers for your fiancee or does your fiancee have to gather all the necessary shots and medical records BEFORE going to the medical interview?

Medical exam is scheduled by your fiancee.

They will provide the shots for a fee, but get her immunization records from her pediatrician/local doctor to bring to the medical.

Immunizations are not required for K-1, but will be required for Adjustment of Status

OK, stop being so polite. This is not the Canada forum, eh, so sorry, excuse me. We can all post the same response, it counts as "positive reinforcement" Could also just ne plagerism but we try not to think that way.

The medical can be schedule by either the petitioner or the fiancee

If anyone has anything good to contribute about the interview in Kiev I'm all ears.

I know Gary had a no questions interview. So did Brad pretty much.

One thing I found today.

Daria got the information package yesterday from Kiev. And it actually includes a copy of our adjudicated/approved I-129F.

I didn't know they do that.

Just found it interesting.
