Cost Estimation for the Forthcoming Process

Dear VJ Folks,

We are currently armed and prepared for interview and are praying now for God's help in guiding us safely out of the embassy. Now we are just looking at the next forwarding steps and are trying to be cost efficient to keep aside a certain lump of money for the processes that is yet to come. So please give your insight on the estimated cost for the following process :-

1) Adjustment of Status

2) Employment Authorisation Document

3) SSN

4) Advance Parole

5) Removal of Restriction

and any other process that you feel that is needed to be done. Please give us the total cost if you might know ? Thank you

5) I'm sure the fee will go up before it is time for you to file -- reevaluate when it is closer.

Yep - current cost to file AOS is $1010

You will also need to pay the Civil Surgeon when you have the I-693 completed - costs may vary.

If any vaccinations are needed you may have to pay for those too (we had them done at the local health department for no charge).

Marriage Liscence application fee.

Some of these are minor but depending on your financial situation things can add up in a hurry - so just things to consider.
