Let's face it people, Skype is the best invention since sliced bread! :) Especially for us. I downloaded the app this morning from this link http://phones.verizonwireless.com/skypemobile/

It seems to be working fine so far, I just hope Verizon and Skype have planned for the bandwith usage increase, God knows AT&T didn't plan for the iPhone. Skype may not be perfect, but it sure beats paying $3.00 a minute to Bulgaria! :yes:

I've never used Verizon and have moved away from Skype which used to be our lifesaver back in the day. My first job in the U.S. happened to be for a VOIP company, MyGlobalTalk. Works great for me since a) As an employee I call for free :P and b) their service works from my cellphone. (I don't have a SmartPhone) I just call a local access number and my call is then forwarded over the Internet to whomever I want to call. Dave has a smartphone but he won't download it since he can use my employee account through the friends & family feature.
