Hi everyone. Me and my husband went on to get our interview done today in Portland, Oregon and everything went very smooth. Yay! we got approved, however, the FBI screw up the background check of people for the last couple months so that we have to wait a couple weeks before the officer finished our paper work. Our appointment was at 1 pm, we came about 20 minutes earlier and wait until 15 after 1 until the officer came and called us in. I like it how it was so quiet in the waiting room ( less than 10 ). I expected it must be much more crowded according to others experiences. She was young in her late 20s and seem very nice. Our interview last for about 15 minutes or less. She asked us to tell the true, went over the I130 and I485 forms with us to make sure all the information is correct. My husband changed his job but she told us our old I864 was fine which is good i don't need to submit a new one. Then, she asked me all the question on page 3 of form I485 again which all my answers are no. After that she asked a few question about how we met, when was the first time we see each other, when did we move in together, what was our wedding date, where did the wedding take place and wrote all of that down. She then asked us to show the supporting documents of the marriage which i did show her our lease, car insurance, rental insurance, bank statement. I pulled out a lot of our letters sending to each others and pictures but she told me don't worry about that. She didn't look at any pictures! After that she told us she can approve our case right away then realized that the background check wasn't done yet. I was like " GRRRRRR " inside my mind, but the good thing is we are approved by the officer .Well, that was our experience. Good luck to others !
