Nope.

That assumes that the Republican party still controls this movement. If they don't, they'll have challenges from the right flank taking a good bit of their base vote away. In a winner take all system, that spells trouble for the side of the spectrum whose vote it split. NY23 anyone?

The Republican Party didn't control the Tea Party movement in the first place. That's misinformation.

The Republicans will gain some seats in the House and the Senate but it will be nowhere near enough to gain back both houses. The Republicans have got to ensure they completely disassociate themselves with the Tea Party if they don't they will not gain back as many seats as expected.

Latest projections show they only have a 10% chance of gaining back complete control of the Senate and the number of seats they are expected to occupy after the November elections is around 46.

Polls haven't done much justice during off-year elections lately.

How would the GOP disassociating themselves for the Tea Party win any votes? This the same stuff we heard by nominating the most moderate GOP Senator for President. Nobody will vote or should vote for a watered down version of the Democratic Party.

Which radical elements did the Democrats disavow? Rev. Wright? Anyone else?

They're trying because they can do electoral math.

Is that why Dimocrats control the illegal alien amnesty movement?

Heck, they continued to invite radical elements into adminstrative posts after the election.
