This is why many people call it a terrible law for the American people. I have done some research of whats in it also. Its amazing some of the stuff that it addresses.

Its also why it took arm twisting to get the votes. Its too bad some people who automatically support it because of the 5 minute "talking points" they see on the wed or TV dont read thru it with an open mind. If they are honest with themselves they will see it for what it is. But they wont because its about idealogy instead of what the law does.

As you can see you will get few responses because they dont want to see the truth.

However, just because its not in the bill that passed this time doesnt mean it wont in the next one and that I should not still be mindful of those who would like to force us into servitude and tell me its for my own good.

im not advocating anyone be afraid of anything. i will say 2 things though

1 i most certainly am afraid

2 if youre not afraid you clearly dont follow obama/pelosi/reid speeches very closely, or worse yet youre as bad as they are and agree with their world view.

I'm positively terrified that pre-existing conditions will no longer be grounds for rejection by insurance companies. And that I'll be able to keep my kids on my insurance plan during their college years and as they enter the workforce. Terrified. Absolutely petrified.

i did not start this post to convince anyone or to win any arguments im simply interested in monitoring the debates that it brings up between people more articulate and data heavy than I am. I have chosen my side, much the same as my religion. It really matters not if anyone agrees with me, my choice is my choice because it feels right.
