Guys,

What's this I'm hearing about a welcome pack?

It is a letter of welcome, bottle of champagne, health care and a voucher for 20% discount on a Toyota of your choice.

Thanks for the sarcasm there, although I failed to see the point. I still haven't received the receipt number for my GC production nor have I received one.

You have only been in the US for a month...give it some time...they are probably all backed up from the Haiti thing..I dunno for sure though. Seems like anything from the USCIS or any gov't agency takes forever.

16 March 2012 Sent I-751 package from Aviano AB, Italy.

29 March 2012 Received everything back...wrong fee. thought we didn't have to pay biometrics since we were sending fingerprint cards and passport photos.

30 March 2012 Sent everything out again from Aviano AB, Italy.

10 April 2012 Check cashed

17 April 2012 Received NOA1 dated 6 April.

06 Dec 2012 Received 10 yr green card. Letter said it was approved 28 November 2012.

Sorry, didn't mean to be upsetting. :blush:

I received my welcome package 2 weeks following my POE which was at a land crossing. I have read of some filers recently that completed their POE at airport entries were waiting a little longer.

Hopefully you will receive your letter soon.

Lansbury, I thought it was hilarious!

hindocha - give it some time, I think I was here 8 weeks before I got any notifications from USCIS. In the mean time, go to the SSN office, (regardless of what you put on the DS-230 because only 50% of the time does the card come) and start looking for work (if you haven't already)

Yes - I already have my SSN and actively looking for work. I called about my GC, they haven't even received my file yet, I'm going to wait another week.
