MrsTee, you're doing such a fantastic job! Keep up the good work!

What method do you use to steam meat?

Basically just season up then throw in a little water and butter, cover the dish and let it steam

That's what I do too. It's really easy. We cut up a lot of veggies to go in there with the fish too. My sister had some yesterday that Ray cooked on Sat. She loved it.

Here is a picture of the steamed fish I made not long ago. I told you I use a lot of veggies and pepper. You can't even see the fish, but they are under there. lol

Maybe we need to come to visit you! That looks good. My only problem is I can't do okra nor peppers. The scotch bonnets are not too bad, but green, yellow and red peppers repeat on me. I just don't care for okra.. Don't really care for cooked carrots. Im more of a raw veggie eater...but I can eat the carrots.

MrsTee, now that I think about it I may have addressed the check to USCIS too. Hmmmm.

I just ordered "The Rasta Cookbook". I also wrote down a few recipes I found online.. Plantain & Coconut sauce, Ital Curry and Sesame Greenbeans. Louis and I are going to try and move to a more strict diet. Less processed foods. I need to cook more. I want to eat more raw veggies and fruit. I have a kick a$$ juicer I never use. I really want to start.

Summer is coming and I want to feel better. I need to cut out the wheat too.... I CAN DO THIS!

LOL I said the same exact thing! He eats alot of boiled dumpling and boiled plantains more so the dumpling though. He loves his steam fished, Steamed shrimp, ox tail, pigs ears, pigs tails stewed peas(I am still learning how to make this, I usually buy it) , pigs feet, cow feet, gizzards, irish potatos

Wow my hubby dont eat all that, like yall hubby's do.

he like American food I think that how he was hooked, (well half way hooked    ) )

He likes best the buffets here in Las Vegas but I cook the best meatball sub sandwiches, he has to eat that at least once a week. 3 of them at one sitting. :bonk: :bonk: :bonk:

Sounds good. I couldn't see the picture at work but will def check it when I get home.

I never heard that phrase in my life. Glad there were some later posts to clarify.

JQ, picture my husband won't eat at buffets or partake of free samples in grocery stores. He doesn't like food that multiple people can touch. :bonk: That definitely limits our options. I hope he gets over it soon.
