I haven't had a real tour of DC yet, only been to the fish market but I'll be going to the cherry blossom Parade on Saturday and next Sunday we gonna take a tour of the whitehouse grounds and garden.

I want to come to Virginia beach in the summer, I hear it's real nice there.

We're going to VA Beach this weekend It's 3 hours away.

I'm basically fuming. My BF had his kids last night and the kid's mom, always playing games, texted him she wouldn't be home till 10:30 so she would just pick up the kids at his house. It's a SCHOOL NIGHT, mind you and he's supposed to have the kids home by 9 pm. So BF tries to talk his son into taking a shower at his house. Son said cause he has no clothes there to change into. BF says, when was the last time you took a shower? After some thought......SATURDAY. 5 days ago. This is a 13 year old active but autistic boy. ####### is that??????? How does a mother not notice her kids haven't bathed. (Sorry, DaDa....no direct knock on you. Just can't fathom it at all.)

I have never let this happen before so I don’t feel no kind of way about it. I bathed dem Thus so they were good on Friday and then with the weekend and such I just lost track. Chile who told u, u only go to the gym if u trying to lose weight?Girl u can go get yourself a lil muscle tone and be looking like halle berry. I actually get chunkier when I go to the gym cause I usually don't do a lot of cardio mostly weight training..

Ive actually been keeping a little diary for my Steve and will present it to him for his birthday (July 5th) It's gonna be a scrapbook project for me. Im trying to have a bbq out in the park for him since its so close to a holiday. He is getting a red, white, and blue cake weather he likes it or not (lol) gonna get my best friend who is a pastry chef to hook it up for him. I just love her cakes.. She has a FB page with her cakes on it. Ive saved everything, the first trip we took together, his first basketball game, his first movie, his first hotel stay, which was the day he arrived. His first trip to the poconos for our honeymoon. Im mapping out the whole immigration process he has gone thru....All that stuff..

Wow MrsTee that is so sweet of you. To be honest with you all we are going through a pretty rough time right now. Don't really want to go into a lot of details but not having a job is causing MAJOR stress in our house. So I don't know how he is feeling today as I am not talking to him. Hope he is spending the day reflecting on what a great year it has been and not focus on the negative point of not working. I was going to have a little celebration with chocolate covered strawberries and some champagne but I don't really feel like it now.

Am I psychic? I was really just inviting you out cause I was missing seeing you.

You know what I think....as I've said it to you. It's a tough first year as far as jobs go. He has to find a way to curb his frustration. And, you have to find a way to deal with still paying for everything and (regardless of what you say) having attitude with that sometimes. I've been there, my friend. That first year is the very toughest. You can do this. BUT.....he has to work with you on dealing too.

finesse your guess is as good as mine. He has put in so many applications and has only had 1 company call him in for an interview. He called them today and they said they still haven't made a decision.

Have you gone through the Missouri job service? I think you can do it online. If not, you go down to one of the unemployment offices. You register on their computers and then you can search as often as you like online. And, it's a one time thing. I did it long ago and still check on there from time to time.

He may have to expand the places he is willing to work at for now, Dillon. My point with Andre was get a job, ANY job. Get some US experience on your resume and then go from there. One year of ANY job was all I pushed for. In the job front, he's done exceptionally well. Not easy at first though.

BTW....Gateway Race track has an open call interviewing on the 12th and 13th 5 pm to 9 pm at the Track. Not sure of what they are hiring for or any details. MY son is looking as well and I gave that to him yesterday.
