Where in my post did I advise JQ to bicker with her husband? I basically am saying don't feel guilty.. If you take away the fact that she is going with her girls... she is also getting HIS daughter... so it aint gonna be all fun and games while she is there.. I would never encourage anyone to argue/bicker with their husband. Im simply telling her not to feel bad for the choice SHE has made already.. She just wishes he wasn't acting like he is so that she can have good feelings about their marriage while she is in JA!

For the record, no one has to listen to me... I just express my thoughts in an open forum... you don't have to agree or like it....

I agree and I hope I didn't come off saying she should fell guilty about her trip AT ALL!!! I am all for it. She is doing a great thing being there for her daughter's interview. But I just wanted her to realize he isn't acting funky because he is really and truly upset at her for her going with her friends. He is just feeling left behind and jealous. I was feeling the same way and I will be the first to admit I was wrong for that. That is why I was saying she should just go to him and tell him that she UNDERSTANDS his emotions and feelings.

Thanks Dens I am the same way I called him when I last night on the way home and chatted the whole way till I was at the door He came out as he does every day to grab my laptop and we went for water ice and Chinese food. I was missing that man so much I chatted him up even to the front door LOL we a mess.

these 10hour days are whipping my butt. not to mention the drive to and from. I will be off to school for a month and a half. Gotta go get trained up so I can keep my current position at work. Not at all. Listen this is the last thing Im going to say and my view point about it.

I know personally that being married to a younger man can be hard. For example, my husband wants to be treated like a "man" and I have treated him as such. Never using his age as a bargaining chip or something to make him feel bad about. So if you want to be treated as such, (in JQ's instance) why are you walking around mad at the world because wifey is handling business and having fun. To me, in my opinion thats insecurity/jealousy kicking in. If you trust your mate 100% then I don't see a problem. Where is the love? When you love someone you accept the good, the bad and the ugly. You communicate how you feel about it and move on. Your communication can't be one sided. JQ's hubby doesn't want to talk right now, so maybe when she returns, he will be more open to talk. She can even say to him "Hi sweetie, I had a nice time but I would enjoyed myself 1,000 x's better if you were here with me" and have great make up sex!!! That will probably make him feel better. He needs to hope that she will be understanding when he may have to take a trip (for business/pleasure) by himself.. Im pretty sure if she gave him the silent treatment he'd be angry.

There will be times when my hubby and I won't be able to do things together. I want my husband to enjoy himself and not feel bad because Im not there with him. I love him and trust him that much!
