I'm going to have to start pasting their spanish sentences in the spanish to english online translation. One of my co-workers met a girl online from Dominican Republic and had to use the translation site all day long. lol Neither of the two could speak a word of each others language. It didn't last long though.

So this trick from my online class just totally ripped off my online submission. She took my topic and so-called did a three-line research on it, after I had submitted mine for class review over an hour later... She no easy, she tink a so di worl' run and gi u ppl sintin fi u tek an gwan like a fi u... Mi bex star

I'd be pissed too! I had a classmate try to take over a presentation in our govt final one semester after we'd agreed to let the powerpoint slides do most of the talking. Well, I just jumped in & took over once I saw what he was trying to do because I had done 95% of the work & he contributed a few lousy slides out of about 50 & wanted to act like he was the man. So, I just started talking along with the slides. I hope that trick (LOL) gets what's coming to her!

I just had a funny thought inspired from all your movies....you should get an African mask & hang it somewhere he will see it often. When he gets outta line, just tell him it's your new mask & it was originally used by ancient tribes to put a curse on bad children! Maybe if he sees that thing looking at him all the time, he'll think twice before acting up again! Heck, if you don't have good markets there for that kinda thing, let me know & I'll send you a scary looking one from our flea market!

We're doing good on most days! If you'd asked that on Monday night it might've been a different response though. LOL!

You know, I have no idea what exactly they planned to do as far as reimbursing her or whatever. The answers I get are so vague that it just drives me to near-insanity. The issue has been temporarily resolved though so we shall see what happens. I won't be surprised if it pops up again soon though. *smdh*

I have a rasta man hanging on my wall and my kids absolutely hate it.. I said okay yall keep talkin bad about him if you want to... when you can't move body parts you will know why

I feel yuh girl none of these ladies speak to me anymore or respond to my post dey juss skip ova me but its what ever...

Don't feel no way Dada...sometimes I feel like I'm chatting to myself too but it ain't no thing...I talk to myself all the time anyway. I read everything...I just don't always comment on everything cause I can't keep up otherwise. Maybe others do the same.

i'm not really a religious person...a christian yes, but not much into going to church, etc...but just wanted to thank the Lord for blessing us so richly with these beautiful girls! Our family and friends have been so supportive and amazing, the girls are healthy, we are so happy....and loving every minute of this journey!

I thank all of you for sharing in this adventure with us as well! I believe the fun has only begun!!

on another note, i have not heard anything back about my LOC paperwork nor has our check cleared...over 2 weeks ago i mailed it....kinda wondering what the heck is up with it...

I feel ya Ness on the religious thing...I'm same way but it's always good to acknowledge & give thanks for our blessings!

Just talked to Nov and she's hanging in their. Her grandmas funeral is tomorrow. Keep her in your prayers.

She did say the weather was nice and that she was drinking Wray & Nephew rum cream. Where's the rolling my eye's smiley? I was like a kid asking her is it mango season yet? lol Love mango.

No, no, no...Keep it up. It's actually educational. I've always wanted to learn spanish. I took it in high school and didn't learn a lick of spanish because I was too busy being grown. One guy taught me Vamos a la coma and I learned it meant let's go to bed.

That is even more funny cause I made a 'cookies' reference to hubby just a few days ago. I thought I was the only person who would've used that!

If hubby drank my rum cream, I'd hold out one more night on him too! That's a SERIOUS offense & deserves PUNISHMENT!

Lehi says he's tired of rice too sometimes...I don't know why but I NEVER get tired of it. Of course, I mix it up...sometimes it's Thai w/rice, Mexican w/rice, other Asian w/rice....all the foods I really like go with rice! Ray is lucky you can make JA food cause when Lehi gets tired of the usual, he's the only one who can knead dough properly.

Sometimes when I go to this area called Langley Park in MD, the guys be talking to be in Spanish. I be like no, mi no speak espanial (sp). When I was in Cancun the same thing happened. I wish I knew how to speak it because I would mess with then big time.
