I just had a funny thought inspired from all your movies....you should get an African mask & hang it somewhere he will see it often. When he gets outta line, just tell him it's your new mask & it was originally used by ancient tribes to put a curse on bad children! Maybe if he sees that thing looking at him all the time, he'll think twice before acting up again! Heck, if you don't have good markets there for that kinda thing, let me know & I'll send you a scary looking one from our flea market!

We're doing good on most days! If you'd asked that on Monday night it might've been a different response though. LOL!

ells, girl.. that is so messed up..ive been apart of a lot of car trouble..its the WORST..

and if everybody had just listened to u and sold it in the beginning everything woulda been fine.. so tell me.. if his mom gave him the money for the car, was she gonna get a part of the business income??

You know, I have no idea what exactly they planned to do as far as reimbursing her or whatever. The answers I get are so vague that it just drives me to near-insanity. The issue has been temporarily resolved though so we shall see what happens. I won't be surprised if it pops up again soon though. *smdh*

honestly i don't think he should have to pay back his mother the full if she was aware all along that the car wasn't in his name

and that thing about insurance being harder to get is somewhat true

he's a man with a "young license" so that makes him a greater risk and therefore sends up his premium and in some cases insurers may even refuse him (it does happen some time)

if i were in his shoes i'd try to give her back some of the money, try to reason it out with my cousin, and whereever it mawga it pap! at some point he has to let it go and move on at some point

A true Bunz! I sorta try to say that but it still stresses him. It's good to see it from someone reputable (that would be YOU) that licensing is tricky like that there. I believed it but it's good to see confirmation. However, since I was the one who paid to insure the car, I would've been willing to pay another $100-200 US (on top of what I already paid) to do so in his name but we never got the opportunity. It was already in his cousin's name when it was time to do it. It sure would've made everything else less of a hassle later on. Oh well, lessons learned for everyone.

Hopefully his Mom will end up getting the money that was paid for the car but if not, that's for Lehi to settle with his Mom when he's able to. I insured the car, paid for tire repairs & small stuff & kept gas in it while I was there....I've done my part. The rest is on him.

Darn it, forgot it was 2xs Tuesday at Dominos... Jus got two medium pizzas for the same price (Damn u Dominos for bein slick)

i'm not really a religious person...a christian yes, but not much into going to church, etc...but just wanted to thank the Lord for blessing us so richly with these beautiful girls! Our family and friends have been so supportive and amazing, the girls are healthy, we are so happy....and loving every minute of this journey!

I thank all of you for sharing in this adventure with us as well! I believe the fun has only begun!!

on another note, i have not heard anything back about my LOC paperwork nor has our check cleared...over 2 weeks ago i mailed it....kinda wondering what the heck is up with it...

Speak of da pums, hubby and I have been arguing too.. when I came home today why did he make steamed fish, rice and dumplings...He want my COOKIES, he want my COOKIES!!!! May have to hold out one mo nite though!!!

That is even more funny cause I made a 'cookies' reference to hubby just a few days ago. I thought I was the only person who would've used that!

If hubby drank my rum cream, I'd hold out one more night on him too! That's a SERIOUS offense & deserves PUNISHMENT!

Here Ray go again with this I don't want no more rice thing. Maybe this time it will last longer than one day. Now I gotta knead dough like I work at the local bakery.

Lehi says he's tired of rice too sometimes...I don't know why but I NEVER get tired of it. Of course, I mix it up...sometimes it's Thai w/rice, Mexican w/rice, other Asian w/rice....all the foods I really like go with rice! Ray is lucky you can make JA food cause when Lehi gets tired of the usual, he's the only one who can knead dough properly.

The yardie link up is looking like it's going to be slammin. I'm really going to try and make it. I was thinking we should have one every year and change locations so different people could make it and it would be an excuse for others to travel to new places.

I want to try also but I can't promise anything...I need to get it together & answer these invites & stuff. I forgot, are we bringing hubbies?? LOL

Ells...I sooo understand how you are feeling....I got ahold of some referbished phones one time and brought them down to sell. Well, Kevin (the x) sold a couple to cousins and one to a coworker. We never heard the end of that...6 months later the cousin called K's mom who then called K to say she wanted her $$ back because the phone broke...(calling the mom was a ploy because she didn't have the nerve to call directly) SIX MONTHS LATER!!!! and then the co-worker said shortly after buying it,(when he was broke) that he needed his $$ back because he was broke and shouldn't have bought it....of course he had used it and it was all scratched up... NEVER AGAIN

I'd have to tell them 'this isn't AT&T & we can't take your old phones back & refurb them...SORRY!' What makes some of these people think this is acceptable just because they bought it off of a 'friend' rather than from the store?? They know damn well that if they tried to walk an old phone back into a Digicel store they'd be laughed right out! Same goes for any other thing. You bought it, SALE FINAL! No returns, exchanges or refunds!

On another note....I am keeping the secret/surprise!!! He did ask "are you sure you aren't coming down?" I was very adament almost indignant saying with what $$$? Explaining that if we get an interview in the next couple of months I will need to come then...and reminding him that I am a student and not working...

My sentiments exactly! BLECH! I've probably posted about this before but I will again...the worst 'cocktail' I've ever had was in JA on our first trip. A rasta guy at a roadside stand mixed up Magnum, rum & I think red bull. It was like drinking Nyquil...it was warm & everything. I took a few sips & very apologetically told him I couldn't drink it & gave it back.

Well the kittens are so adorable Foxxy is a good but confused Momma LOL. She is very protective of the kittens but also wants to play with Storm and run around with Hanny and coudle with Damian and I. Last night Mrs. Bootsy came over and suggested we move them from the basket into a larger box with a cover, so we did and she wasn't happy and left the babies and went back to the basket. So we needed to move her and the babies into the basket since she liked that spot better. Well she kept leaving the babies and jumping in the bed with us and running back and forth and finally stayed with the babies.

This morning I woke up and heard the babies crying, so I run and they aren't in there basket I nearly drop! so I am running all over looking for them following the cries and low and behold Foxxy moved them one by one under our bed so she can be closer to us . I let Hanny out of the boys room so he could mingle a little and didn't get too upset because he had to stay in with the boys all night LOL instead of his usual spot right up under me

The kittens are so adorable, I got a good look at the 1st born is black, the 2nd is white with coloring like Foxxy, the 3rd is gray with a little white like Hanny's father who was a very long hair. Mrs Bootsy says they are very small ( premies LOL) but healthy and just fine and she is looking forward to see if they are long hair as well. Her new kitties are long hair too we may try and mate 2 of our long hairs when they are older.

Damian is so cute he is so concerned and making sure the cats leave Foxxy and that the babies are protected. The only thing Mrs. Bootsy said was Lawd why is he shining that flashlight in there faces every minute scareing the mess out of them LOL. He had no idea he was frightening them we were cracking up, so no more flashlights haaa.

Well there are 2 more outside cats that are due litters this week, Foxxy's ( ho) Mother Darkly and Marilyn Monroe's ( ho) sister Darkly has bawn us all of our cats she is just fertile Myrtle and we can't catch her either to take her in so we just do what we can to care for her babies.

Awww, I love the kitteh stories. That's sweet she wanted her babies closer to her 'hoomans'! @ calling the outside Mamas hoes! Put some tranquilizer in some wet food & go get fertile Myrtle fixed!

hubby had baby duty last night so i got some sleep! yay!

So yesterday was the anni versary of when me and my hubby met and went on our first date.

So he did not say anything to me in the car about it in the morning and I was upset because I thought he forgot.

When I went to pick him up he had ready. I think his friend took him on his lunch break.

So I was ready to go to the house again to … ( I had some drinks yall) and hubby said he had to take me 1 more place.

We got to the park , Im like why am I here Yall he had a picnic of fruit at the park with a blanket and champagne that his friend set up for him… #######. :crying: Can you say romantic.

I was wondering why he was telling his friend our every move. We are leaving now blah blah blah. Going here now. He had it all planned.

So we were getting toeeee up with the liquor I had a few drinks on the strip so I was feeling good.

I was like lets go home now and he was like what y0ou wanna do at home that we cant do here . I was like wow at the park. He was like yeah and then we can go home and get it on there also.

He started kissing on me and messing with me and the next thing I knew

Girl it was on an poppin at the park, no one was around and if they were they got a show to tell they grandkids at a later date.

Before I thought it was the person I used to say well hell if they didn’t take all day to get their words out we would be o.k. but you know what maybe it is me huh??? LOL

It's always good when we can take what someone tells us constructively & have the grace to accept it & try to work on it. I know I appreciate when someone tells me something in a loving way that makes me think about my behavior. I may not fix the problem right away but at least I can try & improve myself. If it makes us a better person/friend/partner/whatever, then that's a good thing.

I am so annoyed right now we have an emergency in JA and I'm trying to send $ via Western union online and I get some damn message to call them on the phone to verify my identity??? Okaaaay so I call them and they ask me all these dumb questions and I tell them to look at my history as you can see that I have been a longstanding customer and send $ often so why all these additional questions. I answered everyone and then he wants to validate my phone # I am calling from which is my work # and comes back and says he can't validate it cause its not in my name ummm yeah I said work # why would it be in my name???? So I give him my cell and then he says that didn't validate at all ok so that's not my issue why are the phone #'s I am utilizing beingused to validate my identity that is dumb??? Girl he was not being helpful at all and I ended up cussing him and telling him I will use Money Gram

Now Hubby is unhappy saying I get Vex too quick and I could have worked this out better, this is an emergency blah blah blah and I need to come home and go to the store and do it????? HUH chile please now I am hotter than fish grease and have a major attitude! woosah
