Form I-864 tax returns

For the tax return copies. Do you have to include every page ? or can you just have a copy of the summary page and the w-2 ?

It's really best to get a transcript from the IRS for the years you need. It has all the information USCIS needs. It's free, all you have to do is call them. They will mail you the transcripts within a week or 2. I think, though I'm not certain, that they will also fax them to you.

You have to include every page that would be filed with the IRS if mailing it in. If you use a tax program, it will generate a bunch of other pages for your records. The tax return would include Form 1040 and any Schedules that are part of your return. Everybody is different, but some might have none while others could have Schedule A, Schedule B, Schedule D....you get the idea. And one could have additonal pages called Form<insert a number>. If it is titled Form ____ or Schedule ____, then it's part of the return.

Pages that tax programs (like TurboTax) generate, but aren't part of the actual return are Taxpayer Personal Information page, anything called a Worksheet, Tax Return Summary, Filing Instructions, Thank you Letter, Tax History Report....
