admitedly i have not yet formulated a constitutional way to eject these parasites but i would start by cutting the umbilical cord into hard working americans that never asked for anything other than the ability to make their own destiny.

I'd recommend you start by first learning some U.S. History - especially presidential history, starting with Reagan through GW Bush.

to be clear, i was asserting the entire measure would have been unnecessary if the flood of illegals were not contributing to the problem that we now face. after removal of these parasites the over all cost of health care for law abiding people would self-regulate downward.

ireland simply has no flood thanks to, in part, to the measures they have taken that i outlined earlier. the number of illegals that do get in, and find sufficient work to stay in the country are small enough that it doesnt break their system. it also helps that they are an island with a much easier border to defend but it has to start with political will, which the usa has none.

i have my issues their policies, even more so after the eitc education i got here tonight, but on balance i think they both did more good for this country than bad especially when you compare with lbj carter clinton and certainly obama. fdr i have very mixed feelings about because the new deal was clearly the biggest heap of socialism this country has ever seen, though i suspect obama will top it, however, he did win ww2.

these days there is also a mass exodus of immigrants both legal and not due to the evaporation of jobs that provided the magnent in the late 90's. the country as a whole is now on the brink of insolvancy, though not as urgently as greece, and irelands credit rating is currently lower than chile, so its not likely that any flood will be anxious to return any time soon.

If the courts uphold it, there will be hell to pay.

Aren't you priviledged to be in a position to pay for your own healthcare or have your employer pay for your insurance! Lucky you! Think of what life would be like if you lost your home / savings / pension / college fund because you couldn't afford to pay for necessary healthcare if you get cancer or if your children are born premmie and in hospital for a long time. Life is unpredictable and everyone, rich or poor, should be enititled to have access to affordable healthcare. Or would you be happy for America to turn into an African nation where only the corrupt and wealthy can afford to be alive?

so now we get the govt to the rescue and have them cater to our needs from cradle to grave right? its all a disguise from them eventually having the power to tell us what to do in every aspect of our lives.

catastrophic care for chronic diseases can be handled without punishing the healthy people that dont want or even need insurence.

oh really? how exactly is that? in order to keep them out of our hospitals we have to first start by keeping them out of our country.

instead they plan to just give them a free pass to citizenship, it was a mistake when regean did it in the 80's and its a mistake now. this adminisitration would like nothing more than to wipe out the borders entirely and that just slaps me in the face for being the idiot who went through this whole immigration process. My census form came in English and spanish, what rock are you living under that makes you think the american government is planning on taking away anything from these parasites.

What logical argument have you made in regards to the content of my original post? None as far as I can see. Your argument was that a majority of people approve the passage of the bill because they don't know what this bill is about. Of course, that doesn't explain away the increasing support of the bill post passage vs. pre passage. Or are you saying that a majority of people opposed passage of the bill just a couple of weeks ago based on the content of it and now that it passed Congress and has been signed into law they somehow forgot about what the bill contains? Your argument to the substance of the original post is anything but logic. It makes no sense whatsoever.

If anything, people learned more about the content of the bill and as they do, support for it seems to be building up.
