Ok, so we know several consulates are pretty backed up. This includes DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, CANADA, GHANA, JAMAICA.

Second week of April is 12-16 since the first "week" only had 2 days in it. To be eligible for May scheduling your case must be completed by April 9. If your case is completed after then, you will have to wait until the second week of the next month for an interview in June. Or you'll get an interview scheduled during the last week of April for June, depending on your consulate's trends.

This is according to usual historical trends. Of course, there ARE exceptions to this. And as Matt has proved, you can even move up your date which so far was believed to be only reserved for dire medical/emergency situations.

When you can no longer access your receipt page and you get an error message while trying to log in to the NVC payment portal--that's when you get your log-in fail.

too bad embassy is closed today due to Heroes Day...does that mean it'll take longer to get our appointments?...aaah! time goes by slow at times like this...i guess i'm not having any fun

In I-864EZ question #19, do I check both boxes ("I have filed a federal tax return for each of teh three most recent.." and "I have attached photocopies of my federal ..") if I include transcripts of federal tax returns for 2009, 2008, and 2007?

for you it's 665 (MNL) then you enter the other 10 after it asks for you too, followed by the # sign

Nj328, it looks like you still have to send/email in DS-3023, pay IV bill ($400), pay AOS bill ($70), send in AOS packet (I-864), send in DS-230 packet (IV), wait, wait some more, etc. Then pending no RFE's a few weeks or so after the NVC reviews your packets you should get a sign in fail. Unless of course you figured out some amazing miracle shortcut - in that case please share!

AVR updated again for checklist response for April 6th! Does anyone have a link to embassy sights so I can try to solve the interview date equation? I'd like to see if there's any chance for May!

I'm only trackin this tumor that's moving from behind my left eye toward the center of my brain No, finally spoke to a nice lady there (just now) but got the usual. We schedule during the 2nd week for the following month. "but isn't this the second week or did you not count the first cuz it was only like 1 day long?" Yes sir, the first week didn't count... ....Ok so we should get an interview scheduled next week then? "yes, we can't guarantee a May interview though... I really feel like shooting myself in the face after I get off the phone with them..LOL

Let's hope the weekend goes by fast & starting Monday we get some answers.

I was talking to hubby and I asked him to call the Mumbai Embassy & he says it's hard to get through it's busy all the time. I said try getting a hold of NVC! At one point, they finally answered after calling them 61 times & the longest hold I had was like 30min so then he said okay. I'm
